And way more surprising than the quiz that said I'm compatible with Dean.  :)

I have a new musical love: Flogging Molly. Okay, not so much new, more like I just saw an old one-night stand leaning against the far end of the bar & now I want to ask him to move in.


Lucky for me, the show's on a Sunday & about five miles from my front door.  :)

Since I'm trying to get a little more & different kinds of visual art in my life, I decided to take the quiz on nonniemous' journal.  Plus, those are just fun.  :)

The most surprising thing was how few of the pictures I actually liked.

Okay, maybe the "enjoy being popular" part was more surprising — there's so much wrong with that sentence I don't quite know where to start.

Off to eat & look at a couple of art books.  I found one full of photographs of Leone's Spaghetti Westerns.  Now that's art.

I got a teaser e-mail from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival yesterday & found something that's too much fun not to share:  The Metal Shakespeare Company.  These guys are awesome, they sing scenes from Shakespeare's plays over metal (& engage in slightly period English between songs too).  To anyone who' s not really interested in the music, I suggest skipping to the 10 minute mark to get a little taste & a little humor, and a little of the keyboard player's ripped abs. *leer*
