July 13 - Some bigshot will be here next week so we have to act all lame and uncool (aka professional). Everything will be done by the book and it's going to suck. It means that until the big shot is gone I can't text, watch anime or go online while on the job. It also means that we'll have to postpone the birthday we had planned to celebrate for one of our coworkers that week since the office will go from an amusing place to boredomville for the week. I'm glad I have my days off in the middle of the week, so I'll only actually have to put up with the act for 3 days. That aside, when doom week is over, you guys who live in the US can text me on the job again, well you can text me anyway, except I won't be able to reply during those 3 days. I still have the 200 text a month plan and there are plenty left that I can use before the month ends, as I can't keep them for next month anyway.

July 14 - Since I don't know how much time I'll have during doom week I decided to post the B-day gifts early. I also have a 12 hour shift on the 29th... 4 for the flight and 8 filling in at the Jet Center... which means I'll probably finish playing Gurumin then. :D I love that airplane gas station, easiest job in the world. Write down people's IDs as the go in and out every few hours, answer the phone and radio even less often and play games most of the time! I wonder what movie they'll play that night. Last time it was Up and before that Incredibles. I'll also probably catch an episode of Nikita if it's airing that day. ^_^

July 15 - Happy birthday Alicia! Last night I saw someone at work playing Bust a Move and decided to be a copycat and get it for Xellos. I must get an app store card at some point in the future. Poor Xellos is broke. At least Reno has a little money for the PSN. Gotta make a note of getting that card... later since I'm lazy when it comes to going to the mall... or anywhere really. At least I have the sample Bust a Move games. XD I hung out playing for like half an hour after they said we could leave. ^^;;

July 16 - Doom week was pushed back and it'll be from today until Saturday... Yay for being off today and tomorrow! Though I thought I would get 1 doom day, then my days off, then 2, now it's all 3 in a row. At least I'll know what to expect from those who work today. The Amassment forum is up and running! The first 10 members get free coins! http://board.amassment.org/index.p… I listened to the 11th Slayers novel, Crimson Obsession while posting. It's actiony. :D

July 17 - Yesterday Inspector Doom didn't show... Don't know if he'll be there today. I'll text someone and ask later. I hope he's not there tomorrow when I go back to work.

July 10 - The plan for today is to get ahead in Revolution chapters... let's see how I do. I also rearranged things to set up my next Slayers story. Totally looking forward to writing it. I have CaramellDansen on repeat again... it's been over an hour today again and I'm still not tired of it. O.o;;

June 19 - For those who were using my notes as a reference, I put all the files related to them in their own folder. They are not gone! They are here: http://piratesboard.net/mikari/fan… I revamped the old Lina and Gourry layouts to make the pictures stay on the screen while the text scrolls. Instead the text fades away as it reached the top image. There is a new layout too. It features Miku from Vocaloids.

June 20 - Joined another art archive http://mikaristar.sheezyart.com Someone at Beloved Enemy http://z3.invisionfree.com/Beloved… Neptune I think... mentioned The character of Gone with the Wind being like Xellos and Filia. I needed something to listen to while I uploaded fanworks to yet another archive, so I went through posting 75 stories at Your Fiction http://yourfanfiction.com/viewuser… and now I'm posting a bunch of fanarts at Sheezy Art, all while listening to the story. Though the characters are not exactly like them, I do see strong similarities. The only big difference is Scarlet being flirty and selfish, which Filia is the opposite, but they have similar tempers and interactions. Butler also has a lot of personality traits that are indeed quite similar to Xellos and everything I notice something about them it makes me laugh in amusement. I would so have liked to see them in a modern day setting as I don't like stories of the past, but the characters are fun, so they make up for the boring setting.

I like Butler's sincerity, kind of reminds me of myself, seeing the world for its usefulness, but I'm more like Scarlet in that it's usefulness goes as far as its entertainment. While I'm definitely not a flirt, all the opposite, I can be rather cold. I do appreciate Scarlet's simple self-centered nature as I identify with it. I can watch the world fall apart but if I am amused, it's all good. If I'm not amused, who cares about anything? I also share Scarlet's disregard for more people, lack of patience and general dislike for children and their responsibilities. Except I figured that out before getting married, while for her, she realized that freedom is better than marriage all too late, though she may recover still. I think I'm about half way through listening to this. I don't like the overly long setting descriptions that appear at times or the setting itself, but like I said, the fun characters make it amusing enough. Butler's overly-honest practicality is very amusing, though he's look much better in my imagination if he'd shave, because the narrative has reminded me of his mustache several times and I don't like mustaches or any sort of facial hair.

June 22 - I'm on Lost Universe episode 10. :) Gone with the Wind is turning boring. Scarlet is turning too responsible. I like adventurous carefree character that throw responsibilities to the wind and go off adventuring leaving the rest of the world to fend for itself! Oh well... I'll still finish listening to it.

June 23 - We had a super delay due to thunder storms and then when the airplane did arrive, it had a worn tire which the mechanic needed to take care of, so that added more to the delay. So instead of a round trip that takes 3 hour to process between receiving passengers, checking in the ones that are leaving, loading, clean up and boarding, it took 8 hours for the process, most of which were spent waiting for the airplane to arrive. I watched episode 11 of Lost Universe on my iPod at the office, then wrote a little for my X-Men: Evolution fanfic after I had to go from the office to the gate where the office wireless doesn't reach. Xellos (my iPod's name) even if you might be Lina's useful item number four, you're turning into my useful item number one!

Naturally, cranky passengers with, literally, red eyes were more abundant than ever before. I was very sleepy as the sun had come up and I'm using to going home hours before that. It was eight in the morning! I haven't been awake at eight in the morning for years! On the bright side, I did get some nice pictures. I think my favorites are the one with sunrise over the airplane parking lot between the airport building and the runway and the control tower.

While waiting for the tire process, a few flight attendants and airport employees were at the back stairs. We heard a bird and wee all like "someone's cell phone is ringing." We kept looking at each other because no one was answering their phone and realized that none of us had a bird ring tone for calls. Then after a few minutes of confusion and putting our ears to the cellphone, iPods and various hand-held electronics, we looked up. There on the tail of the airplane there was a bird singing more cheerfully that anyone should at that tired early hour. We laughed because none of us expected bird sounds to come from an actual bird. Kain from Lost Universe looks like Comet! O.O Kain did exist long before I created Comet, but I didn't see him until recently so I can assure that Comet was in no way based on Kain. I wasn't even that much into the Slayers series when I wrote Don't Give Me Diamonds (Pokemon) and it was because I later watched Slayers and after writing Slayers: Alive that I decided to look up Lost Universe because it's by the same author. I'm still on episode 1, watching bits and pieces during breaks at work. It makes sense that Kain is somewhat similar to Lina as they are the protagonists of anime by the same author, but the comet thing is totally random. XD Just go to Google image and type Lost Universe Kain and you'll see what I mean.

June 18

Yesterday I filled in on the afternoon shift of the airplane gas station near the airport. I'm only there as a backup and still do my usual night flight shift. I do wish I had the gas station as my regular shift. It's so good to spend two thirds of the time watching videos and playing PSP only occasionally actually having to work. Then it's easy work anyway, write down IDs, give out contractor badges and keep records of them, answer the phone and radio and scan credit cards when someone needs to pay for fuel. Customers are few since the regular cargo flights are not that many and only so many people own aircrafts. I haven't seen any helicopters yet, though they do service them. I did see a very pretty small private jet yesterday and posted a picture of it at DA, along with a few other random pics. The passenger airline pics (night) are from the airport and the pics that are by the window (day) are from a different runway that's next to the gas station, but the runways are connected, though it's like 5 minutes in a car from the airport to the gas station.

I've been watching some more episode of Lost Universe. It reminds me of Outlaw Star with Kain and Gene as the redhead protagonist and Melphina and Canal as the living ship control, albeit Canal is so much better than Melphina.

I had a weird dream, but didn't have time to blog about it. I was in the Fate/Extra universe with Zelas as my "servant" except she claimed to be the master who fought battles because she didn't need help from her servant who was supposed to be me. I was in the elevator set to fight against Rin, who had Milgazia as her servant. Then this happened:

Zelas: "Milgzia..."

Rin: "So you know who he is... then you should know that a golden dragon elder will not be defeated."

Mikari: "My ser- I mean... Beast Master Zelas, eats golden dragons..."

Rin: "..."

Milgazia: "...she does hunt my kind for dragon cuisine occasionally..."

Rin: "..."

The elevator reaches the arena and the fight starts.

Zelas: *kills Rin* (Note that I don't hate rin, this is just how the dream went!)

Milgazia: "You were supposed to fight me!"

Zelas: "These fights are too easy, take me lace and struggle by this girl's side." *disappears*

Milgazia: "...I guess this means you're my new master..."

Later we come out of the elevator and find Rani with her servant Xellos.

Xellos: "It looks like you won, but Beast Master has abandoned you..."

Later when we go to see who we'll fight in the next round the name had been erased and instead someone wrote "that is a secret" but that in itself made it pretty obvious I was up against Rani and Xellos. Then I woke up. Lucky for Milgazia because I had considered dressing him up as Filia in desperate effort to trick the trickster and win. XD

I finally downloaded Gurumin from the PSN, though I bought it some time ago. I also got a PSN mini that looked like Cloud pretending to be Link. It's called Zenonia. I haven't actually played them yet, but I'll get to it as soon as I do some stuff online. XD Whenever I get around to play them, as usual I'll blog about it.

June 10 - I'm fighting the assassin next. He's strong. I need more defense, but I'm so done grinding. In this game you only get a certain amount of chances to grind and after you're done that's it, if you want more levels you have to load an old save. That's what I don't like about it. There's an anti grind system that changes the exp to make grinding easier, but at times it also makes it harder because you get less exp the higher your level is. That aside it's a fun game, that and the introduction were the only things I didn't like. Otherwise I've been playing it a lot. I'll try that assassin fight again... Apparently there are different plots if you save Rin or Rani? I choose to save Rani, though Rin also survives. Makes me wonder if adding the girl character was a last minute decision as it doesn't seem like the narration was made specifically for her. Is there even a different version or is it just a generic narration for the guy and the girl?

June 11 - By now it's pretty obvious that they didn't revise the script much for the girl character. Archer "that was a dick move master" *rants about how one should eat the food a woman has cooked for them* Um... Archer... your master's a girl, how dense could you be? If you want her to be all lovey about a home cooked meal go cook for her yourself, stupid. lol at Rani stealing Xellos' quote http://i362.photobucket.com/albums… it's funnier that she also has purple hair and eyes. XD

June 12 - I had to use one of my elixirs to beat Rin because her Lancer had an instant kill. It's not like the "near-dead will die in next hit" ability of Julius' Assassin, I could just heal Archer after that. This was an "always dies" sort of ability... unless I nullified it, but I couldn't do that if I didn't know when he was going to do it. My strategy was to not fight. I didn't fight, I killed him. I went all out, turn 1 power boots, turns 2 and 3 attack, attack, attack, then the Lancer was dead. No real strategy, no exchange of attacks, just desperate kill mode, the RPG equivalent of button mashing. Now I need to fight Leo... but Julius' ghost is lurking around too.

June 13 - Just a little more training and I'll be ready to take on Leo. Just got Archer's matrix to E level and learned his story. His old philosophy sucked, loyalty over justice! At least he's not that stupid hero of justice anymore and has now become cool. I still like him best out of all the characters in this game. Lancer (Rin's) is cool too.

June 14 - I need one more level to feel ready to face Leo in Fate Extra. I got Archer's defense up to survive the Julius fight but now he's in need of agility and attack power. I want to get those stats up so I can do a fast kill on Leo before he has the chance to do much. It seems that in these last few fights, Rin and beyond, fighting is not actually an option, berserk kill mode is the only means of survival. No strategy, just sadism... works for me. There are quite a few Fate games, I'll have to check the PSN and see what they have for the PSP. I also have Gurumin already purchased that I need to download. Unfortunately I can't get Reno (PSP) to connect from work, though I know the password is fine because Xellos (iPod) connects without even having to be told to do so. Maybe Reno is simply old... he is a 3000... but he connects from home where my data is limited because after dealing with crappy internet I just have to get the expensive one... Oh well, I'll just have to pay the fee if I go over this month. I did last month but instead of asking for a fee they passed the data to this month which is cheaper, but let's face it, I'll probably go over and end up paying the fee anyway, which I don't mind, I just want my data consumption to stabilize. It's not like I asked for "second chance" not to go over. Back to Fate Extra it's funny how in some parts it says "her" and the character actually sounds like a girl, such as her "enchantment" with Julius. Then in other parts they didn't modify the script such as Archer calling her a "d*ck" and admitting "that took balls to say".

June 5 - I'm on round 4 of Fate Extra. I played a lot today. So far I think Archer (the player's partner) is my fav character.

June 6 - There's a part in Fate Extra where you have to fight a vampire. I'm semi-stuck as I need more levels before I can beat her, but that's not what this blog is about. June 8 - On episode 4 of Uta no Prince. It's okay, not super amusing, but it has nice art. I'm training to beat Julius on Fate Extra. Need more levels, especially if his servant is stronger than that vampire girl.

June 9 - Been watching Uta no Prince during break at work. Xellos (my iPod) takes really good screen shots. XD Hyuga is cool. It was amusing seeing him in a scene like the start of Mission Impossible 2. XD I think episode 5 has been the most amusing so far.

June 4 - 2 days ago I started watching Uta no Prince. It's a short series. It's subbed but it's noisy in the office so I would need subs anyway. I turn off the sound or keep it real low since there are no words to listen to anyway. Been watching it on Xellos. I've only seen 2 episodes so far. Yesterday it was my super long shift, but it was easy. Barely any airplanes came since it was a Sunday. There was a different guard this time and she was far quieter than the dude that was there before, good because I could focus on my game. I played a lot of Fate Extra. I wish I had taken the charger. I drained all of one battery and most of the other.

Then I decided to go online for a while to save some battery for later. Had some snacks, doodled, wrote a drabble and watched The Incredibles on the office TV. XD Then I played some more and then it was time to work on the night's flight so I closed up and left. For a second I thought I trapped myself in the office but managed to find a way out via the emergency exit, which I later remembered I was supposed to take anyway since I was supposed to close everything else. now I'm finally back to 2 days off, yay! Maybe I'll get 3 when the low season hits, we'll see. The new girl started at the office today, it looks like some people already knew her and she seems to get along well enough with everyone.

As for my play time with Fate Extra, I'm having fun so far. I thought the training days would be just for training, but I've had special events alongside the side quests every game day. Shinji is such a little cheater! For those who missed my last post, I'm playing as the girl with Archer as my partner. I'm on the last preparation day before the first official round. The intro was indeed pointless and long, but the game itself is fun. Don't let the intro gameplay discourage you, this is a fun game.

June 1 - Feeling better, my throat still bothers me a bit, but it's nothing big. My schedule finally changed when the return of the people who were temporarily out for various reasons including the army, a baby and a surgery. I'll have 2 days off again starting next week! This Sunday I have a 12 hour shift though, but it'll be easy because 8 of those hours will be playing receptionist at an airplane gas station and that was super easy when I did it before. I'll take Reno along and play Fate Extra the majority of the time. There's also wifi and a TV.

As for the other 4 hours, it's the usual commercial flight, so unless there are delay I should be done there in 2 or 3 hours rather than the whole 4 and I'll still get paid for the 4. Then I can rest on Monday. The whole receptionist thing is something I do when someone is absent, but I wouldn't mind doing that job all the time with how easy it is. As for the flight, someone new is coming to the office. We know her name but no one knows what she's like. As usual there's uneasiness because we wonder if she'll be pleasant to have around or not. The same thing happened with the last girl that joined and things turned out alright, let's hope it's the same now.

May 28 - Got Gurumin too, but I haven't saved it from the PSN yet. Fate Extra finished being saved. Haven't tried it out yet. Random thought: mice will one day be extinct... as in computer mice, really, touch screen will replace them and voice commands will replace that. One day laptops will look like iPads except they'll actually work like laptops unlike the iPads which do very little for their size.

May 29 - WTF?! That's not my data consumption! Did they pass last cycles data to this? I was going to buy the extra GB, I didn't want it passed on! I know Xellos connected by himself but I turn him off again and I'm sure he couldn't have drained this much data in such a short time.

May 30 - I'm not fond of water. I'm drinking it to try to keep myself decently hydrated, but it makes me feel like puking, although that is something I haven't done since I was little. None the less the nauseous feeling is still unpleasant even if I'm pretty sure I can withstand it. Drinking a lot of water also make me feel colder. D: Started playing Fate Extra, haven't even reached the first battle yet. So far it's like Persona 3, the main character run around school talking to people and doing assignments. I haven't seen the battle style yet. It's also way too early to pick a fav character.

May 31 - Fate Extra is... odd. It's like the Matrix in high school. The introduction is long and pointless. I played for like half an hour before the first battle. Then it turns out it was an impossible win, the boy got killed and then I got to start over with my actually character for the game. Why not play as my character from the start? I guess they wanted the emphasize the generic repetition of the virtual world but still... As for the actual battles, they are rock, paper, scissors style with attack, break and guard. I'm playing as the girl with Archer as my partner. It's fun so far, even with that unneeded intro. The game warns that there are dead ends... I reached one of those dead ends when I tried to make the generic guy from the intro leave the school and that game me a game over without warning. Needless to say, I'll be saving a lot.

June 1 - I hope they change my schedule soon... They better. "I fell in love with your smile and with your stupid malice" That song is so XelFi it's hilarious. To top it all up, the singer kind of sounds like Filia. XD
