Kain from Lost Universe looks like Comet! O.O Kain did exist long before I created Comet, but I didn't see him until recently so I can assure that Comet was in no way based on Kain. I wasn't even that much into the Slayers series when I wrote Don't Give Me Diamonds (Pokemon) and it was because I later watched Slayers and after writing Slayers: Alive that I decided to look up Lost Universe because it's by the same author. I'm still on episode 1, watching bits and pieces during breaks at work. It makes sense that Kain is somewhat similar to Lina as they are the protagonists of anime by the same author, but the comet thing is totally random. XD Just go to Google image and type Lost Universe Kain and you'll see what I mean.

June 18

Yesterday I filled in on the afternoon shift of the airplane gas station near the airport. I'm only there as a backup and still do my usual night flight shift. I do wish I had the gas station as my regular shift. It's so good to spend two thirds of the time watching videos and playing PSP only occasionally actually having to work. Then it's easy work anyway, write down IDs, give out contractor badges and keep records of them, answer the phone and radio and scan credit cards when someone needs to pay for fuel. Customers are few since the regular cargo flights are not that many and only so many people own aircrafts. I haven't seen any helicopters yet, though they do service them. I did see a very pretty small private jet yesterday and posted a picture of it at DA, along with a few other random pics. The passenger airline pics (night) are from the airport and the pics that are by the window (day) are from a different runway that's next to the gas station, but the runways are connected, though it's like 5 minutes in a car from the airport to the gas station.

I've been watching some more episode of Lost Universe. It reminds me of Outlaw Star with Kain and Gene as the redhead protagonist and Melphina and Canal as the living ship control, albeit Canal is so much better than Melphina.

I had a weird dream, but didn't have time to blog about it. I was in the Fate/Extra universe with Zelas as my "servant" except she claimed to be the master who fought battles because she didn't need help from her servant who was supposed to be me. I was in the elevator set to fight against Rin, who had Milgazia as her servant. Then this happened:

Zelas: "Milgzia..."

Rin: "So you know who he is... then you should know that a golden dragon elder will not be defeated."

Mikari: "My ser- I mean... Beast Master Zelas, eats golden dragons..."

Rin: "..."

Milgazia: "...she does hunt my kind for dragon cuisine occasionally..."

Rin: "..."

The elevator reaches the arena and the fight starts.

Zelas: *kills Rin* (Note that I don't hate rin, this is just how the dream went!)

Milgazia: "You were supposed to fight me!"

Zelas: "These fights are too easy, take me lace and struggle by this girl's side." *disappears*

Milgazia: "...I guess this means you're my new master..."

Later we come out of the elevator and find Rani with her servant Xellos.

Xellos: "It looks like you won, but Beast Master has abandoned you..."

Later when we go to see who we'll fight in the next round the name had been erased and instead someone wrote "that is a secret" but that in itself made it pretty obvious I was up against Rani and Xellos. Then I woke up. Lucky for Milgazia because I had considered dressing him up as Filia in desperate effort to trick the trickster and win. XD

I finally downloaded Gurumin from the PSN, though I bought it some time ago. I also got a PSN mini that looked like Cloud pretending to be Link. It's called Zenonia. I haven't actually played them yet, but I'll get to it as soon as I do some stuff online. XD Whenever I get around to play them, as usual I'll blog about it.

June 5 - I'm on round 4 of Fate Extra. I played a lot today. So far I think Archer (the player's partner) is my fav character.

June 6 - There's a part in Fate Extra where you have to fight a vampire. I'm semi-stuck as I need more levels before I can beat her, but that's not what this blog is about. June 8 - On episode 4 of Uta no Prince. It's okay, not super amusing, but it has nice art. I'm training to beat Julius on Fate Extra. Need more levels, especially if his servant is stronger than that vampire girl.

June 9 - Been watching Uta no Prince during break at work. Xellos (my iPod) takes really good screen shots. XD Hyuga is cool. It was amusing seeing him in a scene like the start of Mission Impossible 2. XD I think episode 5 has been the most amusing so far.

If Inuyasha lets go of his sword he goes crazy with his power that's otherwise locked away awakening and going berserk, if Zenki picks up the golden axe he goes crazy in the same way... I'm guessing that I can expect Chiaki to be all Kagome in a future episode and bring Zenki back to his sense maybe? Oh wait, Zenki was made before Inuyasha, so Kagome is the one acting like Chiaki. XD

December 12 - Thank God I have the day off tomorrow! I want to get some pokemon ready at Vdex to send in the Christmas event. Sorry I didn't reply on the same day. I also really want to work on my slayers fic. I'll probably be able to post the next chapter tomorrow. I'm planning to make some goodies to post at the Slayers LJ com I just joined too, but I haven't even started on that yet. Gah, I need to leave for work in 2 minutes!

December 13 - I caught up with gift giving at VDex, again, sorry I took a few days to reply. Feeling kind of tired today, but otherwise alright.

December 14 - I'm trying to catch up with the 12 Days of Slayers. I don't think I'll be able to post on all of them, but I've at least done 2 so far. December 1 - Don't Give Me Diamonds (Pokemon), my longest fanfic to date, is finished! :D My main project now is To Live Another Day (Slayers). I don't expect it to be as long as Diamonds, but it should be at least 150k words.

December 5 - Watched a few more episodes of Inuyasha, I'm on episode 76 now. I'm still on episode 55 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. I'll probably continue watching it after I finish Inuyasha. I might eventually watch Bleach when that's done, maybe. I'm still playing the extra missions of Valkyria Chronicles II. I suck at finding the boxes and capturing camps are still my best missions. I'm only playing every other day so it's going by slowly but surely. I still have Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Tag Force 4 to play after that. I probably won't get any new games for a while, maybe. I'm still looking forward to Final Fantasy Type-0. XD

December 7 - I'm on episode 84 of Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru is cool. ^^ I don't really have an absolute favorite though. The plot is getting better, moving a little faster, or I should say it's actually moving.

December 8 - Generally in a good mood. Everything in life feels like it's standing still, yet at the same time flying past me too quickly. It's an odd feeling... it makes me wonder if I should jump out of the cycle or if I want to sit in it for a while longer.

To Live Another Day 6: In The Land of Nightmares (Slayers)

I'm on episode 9 of Inuyasha... it's too slow. I've taken a liking to shorter series where every episode matters. It's been a lot of filler so far. I think I'll keep watching anyway, maybe when I get into it I'll be glad for the many episodes. Then I intend to watch some Yu-Gi-Oh! I never finished the first series and only watched a few episodes of GX, nothing of 5Ds so I want to catch up eventually.

I named the player Seto in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds Tag Force 4. I wanted something familiar among the new characters. Though he looks more like Red (Pokemon) I think. It's like Seto is cosplaying Red. lol What I don't like is that I only have one deck. Will I be able to make more decks later? I wanted to make a strong deck (most powerful cards), a classic deck (cards from the original YGO), a bishounen deck (monsters/etc. that look like bishounen), a bishoujo deck (same but with girls) and a super cute deck (cutest cards regardless of power of lack of). In the GBA game Eternal Duelist Soul I could make a lot of decks. After some practice I could even beat the last opponent, that Egyptian masked dude with my cute deck. XD

I'm at the beginning of Valkyria Chronicles II. Maybe I'll look up a summary of VCI. Avan reminds me a big of Ethan (Phantasy Star) and Zeri of Kyoya (Ouran Host Club). I made a team with my favs. The three main need to be there, plus the silver haired armor dude and the blond engineer with the elf hair. I don't like the style of combat, but the art is still cute.

August 5

The Dragon Ball GT plot gets cheaper as it goes along and here I thought it would be decent... It was decent and even amusing at first, Trunks doing a kiwi and a Solo made me laugh. Then it got random and Vegeta turned into someone else entirely. It started out hopeful and fell apart.

It's really not horrible, just no where near as good as Z and the last saga is pretty bad. I enjoyed the first saga and the middle was okay, it just looks like they're going out of their way with weak excuses to throw certain characters to the background because they can't seem to fit them all into the plot.

In the last saga if they're in such a rush to find the dragon balls why don't they all go look for them? Why just Goku and Pan? These are the Earth dragon balls we're talking about. Can't Trunks and Goten or even Vegeta help beat up the shadow dragons? These shadow dragon fights are so dull. There are no real challenges to them. There are supposed to be 64 episode... I've seen 50 and I doubt they'll be able to fix this in what's left. I might still enjoy the last few episode, but the shadow dragon fights are definitely skipable. My favorite are still the first few episode... possible because I'm such a Trunks fangirl.

August 7

Started Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. The intro has airships :D They have some orb things that remind me of materia and there's this guy who looks like Roxis and another who looks like Flay (both from Mana Khemia) I haven't met them in-game yet. I'm still getting started, saw the intro got the first explanation, got send on a practice mission and then the bad weather cleared up and I came online. The graphics are small but cute, I suppose it might be beter if I plug the PSP to the TV.

Things are so-so at the airport good news: the low season is coming in October which means more days off. Bad news: with the airline merger there might be training trips with written tests which I'm certainly not in the mood for. Other than that the job itself is doing fine, another bad news is that we might get uniforms. That stupid merge sucks!

Playing Blade Dancer for the PSP. Lance (main dude) is a weakling at first but decent after a few levels. I just got the Go-something, the second character. I'm off to slay a wolf thing, but the main guy's monkey ran away so he dished his ally and chased the monkey... yeah, that's what's happened so far. It's rather grindy.

I watched the Place Promised in our Early Days, nice setting, super lame story. Good concepts, horrible plot. How can such an epic would be so full of fail? I also watched Summer Wars, which was much better. Not wow, but good with a calm yet adventurous feel to it similar to some Miyazaki movies... except for the part about ripping off the first Digimon movie. It's summer, a bunch of kids are on the internet, yeah pretty similar. Their avatar take the roles of the digimon (except for being only avatars rather separate characters) and a virus takes the role of the evil Digimon. It affects all the net and thus all electronics, just like in the Digimon movie. Then they powerup their avatar and go off to fight the virus, pretty standard. While all of this happens, there are a few subplots, family stuff, friend stuff, etc. It's like a non-Digimon remake of Digimon with a DS commercial mixed in, still amusing though. I like the fighting bunny, he's cute. ^^

I really like the Lufia II battle theme, sadly on the DS they replaced it with this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsy… Those who played the original (where Tia had a whip for a weapon instead of a suitcase? And Dekar had much cooler spiky blue hair) you might think, "what are you saying? That's the same melody!" Yeah the same tune... with an annoying trumpet! Did I ever mention I hate trumpets? No matter what, they're noisy and out of tune for me. I liked the new version up until the trumpet sounded off, that pretty much killed it. I prefer this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFv… nice and electronic with no annoying trumpets, or rather the trumpets are electronic sounds so they don't sound like trumpets so it's okay. I have the same complaint about the tower music. Now you know what my least favorite instrument is. As for my favorite, definitely the electric guitar. *during a dramatic moment in one of the final episodes of Monster* "They'll shoot you dead!" XD XD XD XD XD That quote takes the srsbsn drama out of anything. XD On the bright side I finished watching Monster, the long and twisted soap opera where the only bishonen turns out to be a kiwi. XD

Fantasy Bit:

I rearranged things and organized the site behind the scenes. I put the profile information on the main page and the character pics in the links in the first paragraph. The more significant updates were a recalculation of the video game scorer and 2 new java scripts. The scorer is now more accurate giving more weight to certain key factors.

The two new scripts are things I've been meaning to do for a while. One is a binary translator. The other script is quite similar; it works by translating a regular message into leet. However, because there are many versions of leet, it's a one way trip. It translates into my personal style of leet and that's it.
