My only console I've ever had was a PlayStation 3 and it's run its course so I am not well versed in modern video games.

The reason I have opinions on video games is because my information comes from playthroughs, breakdowns, and watching cutscenes. So I have a lot of knowledge on games like Devil May Cry and Metal Gear but I don't know the full story and am subject to being corrected at any moment.

I won't lie and say I am a true fan of anything, but I know a lot about the Devil May Cry series to give my opinion on Adi Shankar's anime. Because at least I can rest easy knowing there's a way worse LARPer out there than me.

The best games I've ever played were Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time. I don't make a lot of posts about Ratchet & Clank on my blog because I haven't really played the other games, but it's kinda funny for me to see how lucky I was that the only Ratchet & Clank title I played besides All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault was literally the best game in the franchise. And my knowledge on Assassin's Creed as a franchise comes from what I've picked up online, as I've said about Devil May Cry and Metal Gear.

There's nothing that really prompted this post, like this isn't an apology or anything. But it's basically a forewarning that most of my posts about video games henceforth will be based on what I've learned online and I am subject to being corrected.

And just so you know, these are the games I played on PS3 and am currently playing on laptop through the Steam Library:

I guess you could call me a cinephile but I'm not a very artsy guy

I like movies, TV shows, books. Doesn't really matter if it's anime, cartoons, live action, 3D animation, whatever. I think all of them have their merits and I really admire the art.

I am a writer, kind of an artist. I use novel prose but script formatting because script formatting is easy for me to read and novel prose is fun to describe, and I hate present tense writing which is why I use past tense and a novel style. And I note down camera angles if there's something specific because I'm also studying cinematography.

Even though I am a writer, I don't write a lot because I spend most of my time detailing characters and lore and only write a random scenes that come to mind.

I often use a pretty rhetorical style and try to use my descriptions to paint the picture in your head, from the cinematography to the colours, as a way to kind of give a visual guide through the description instead of leaving instructions most of the time.

My descriptions are often influenced by writers like Tolkien but my mental images are meant to evoke an animated medium like Pixar or Hayao Miyazaki

I sometimes figure out scenes by saying "Okay, how do I do this opening scene because there's a lot of lore?" and then I look at Lord of The Rings and I'm like "Oh, basically put a short film at the start and give that a three-act structure filled with action as well as information so that I can slow down with the rest of the scene, got it"

I like music and musical theatre

My favourite plays/concept albums are Hamilton and EPIC: The Musical and I grew up watching musicals. Shakespeare obviously isn't a musical but I studied Romeo & Juliet last year and I really like it.

I like a lot of music. I'm not one of those people who say they listen to every kind of music because I fucking hate sludge and doom metal because sludge sounds like toxic waste and I was so fucking disappointed that doom metal didn't sound like Mick Gordon. I do like nu-metal and screamo because they have the decency to not sound like a sonic atrocity and actually have a driving rhythm. I also only like country music if it's rock music like Cars or Old Town Road by Lil Nas X. But outside of that, I do generally listen to almost every kind of music from KPop to pop to rap to R&B to rock to Mongolian Throat Metal to cultural music. I used to hate French music until I listened to Est-ce Que Tu M'aimes? and Ma Meilleure Ennemie and re-listened to the Ratatouille and Monster of Paris soundtrack. Same for opera.

I guess I like music if I can see the artistic intent behind it or just like the sound because I find the saccharine pop music like Burst And Pop by Mondays feat. Paulina Fröling or even pop-rock like Not Another Song About Love by Hollywood Ending really comforting and it gives me summer vibes and nostalgia and I think it can even be a little sad in the right context.

I don't know music theory and I wrote a lot of shitty songs when I was 15 but I've recently been listening to the instrumentation of musical songs I've been listening to like Renaissance Disney or Prince of Egypt or My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic so I can admire the work put into it and I've been paying attention to a lot of more OSTs like How To Train Your Dragon or The Incredibles because I think as a writer, I need to be able to think sonically so I can write scenes in line with the music in my head. I can't write notes but I can beat out the music by basically saying what I want it to sound like, so I can't say what the motif in a suite is but I can say where to place it in the arrangement.

I'm not one for the whole "neurodivergence is my superpower" thing but I feel like logically we would be immune to mind readers

Depending on your level of focus at any given time, it may not be a passive thing because I spend a lot of my time with my head completely empty but there are times when a bunch of different sounds are playing at once, and this could be while I'm just walking around looking at things and it's probably the stimulation coming through my eyes triggering my brain to not be able to select background music. So, really it's about mind readers getting one of two extremes.

And if I know someone is reading my mind, I unfortunately have OCD and AuDHD (intersectional neurodivergence BABY!) so my brain is gonna say "Congratulations! I thought of the thing you wanted! HERE'S THE ENTIRE FUCKIGN CATALOG OF THE ALEXANDRIAN LIBRARY!!!" And then I just fucking black out.

I have wondered whether it sounded ablest to assume that neurodivergent and mentally ill people are immune to mind readers, but considering how I know my own brain works I think I can safely say it's at least true for me. You'd have to catch me lacking to be able to read my mind.

The Dazzlings VS 4☆TOWN VS BroZone VS The Saja Boys

There's no reason I should be making this post, I barely power scale and this is probably one of the stupidest fucking debates I could do but whatevs.

To establish the parameters we're working with, each of them have a certain way their magic affects their music.

The Dazzlings have the ability to hypnotise their audience and draw energy from them while instilling a competitive rage in the audience to throw opponents off their game. They also technically have sonic attacks in their serpentine forms (I forgot what they're called). The Saja Boys operate similarly except instead of just competitive rage, they exploit the audience's deepest insecurities to make them more devoted to them.

4☆TOWN has displayed the ability for their music to reach a spiritual level as seen in the Panda's Unite version of Nobody Like U being able to generate energy for a ritual. BroZone somewhat similarly has the ability to achieve the Perfect Family Harmony, which is a harmony so powerful it can shatter diamonds.

That's what we're working with, and now I'm just gonna say... BroZone is absolutely cooked in this fight.

Yes, the Perfect Family Harmony can shatter diamonds but when we're talking about Y2K boy bands, 4☆TOWN claps harder than how NSYNC's manager screwed over the entire band. Robaire BY HIMSELF hit a high note so powerful it boosted the Panda Ritual and when the entire band harmonised, it was completely over. Fuck diamonds, have you tried putting your soul into a song so hard you powered up a spell that worked on a KAIJU?

Really, it comes down to whether 4☆TOWN's spiritual energy can counteract both the Dazzlings and the Saja Boys. 4☆TOWN is made up of ostensibly better singers because Jinu's highest note does not compare to Robaire's highest, and neither does Adagio's because she always sings in a lower register or in the same register as Aria and Sonata. But both the Dazzlings and the Saja Boys thrive on audience attention.

The Saja Boys have an advantage over the Dazzlings in that the Dazzlings' spell can be broken by diverting the attention of the audience whereas the spell the Saja Boys have can only be broken by a singer hitting deeper spiritual notes. In a competition of attention, the Saja Boys have K-Pop stage effects to their advantage as well as whatever the fuck Gwi-Ma was doing with his flames for pyrotechnic effects.

4☆TOWN would technically win this battle because their spiritual prowess would overcome the Saja Boys' spell but the thing is we don't know how the Dazzlings and the Saja Boys' powers would interact with each other because the Dazzlings' rage inducement could probably end up boosting the Saja Boys through the fact that it would exacerbate the issues the audience is already facing.

Ironically, BroZone does actually come back into play here because they'd be the only thing balancing out the demonic forces and lobbing a possible win over to 4☆TOWN, the only issue is the fact that BroZone cannot agree on anything for SHIT and the Dazzlings' rage inducement would only make it worse. How does BroZone have Justin Timberlake, Daveed Diggs, Troye Sivan, Kid Cudi, and Eric André as voice actors and STILL BE THIS ASS?

This isn't a BroZone hate post, I actually liked Trolls: Band Together when I watched a few days ago, but I'm just now realising that BroZone's singers were really held back by the fact that they weren't allowed to do anything crazy with their voices. IRL feats do not count, I do not care that Daveed Diggs rapped Guns & Ships, that was Marquis de Lafayette, not Spruce.

But I think the end result of this, after reviewing everything, is that 4☆TOWN SHOULD win this fight but the Dazzlings overcomplicate the debacle, most likely boosting the Saja Boys, and leading the Jeoseung Saja to become Pied Pipers.

Watched The Sheep Detectives on Sunday (SPOILERS)

Well, less we watched it and more we finally finished it, we ran out of time the first time we watched it a week or so ago and then had to wait for the opportunity to finish watching it with Mom.

Anyway, really good film, I can see why Markiplier watched it when he was sick. But I can't really talk about what I want to without giving spoilers so I'll put a cut-off here so I don't spoil it. But for those of you who want my opinion without spoilers, I can really only say that it's just a good funny movie that I recommend watching because there's not much to say about it, it's just really good.

Me and @leefelixsgaybestie were disagreeing on how old Rapunzel was when she attended Elsa's corneration.

Twin says Rapunzel was 18 and Eugene was 23, I say she was 21-24 and Eugene was 26-29.

Twin thinks she attended the corneration almost immediately after the first movie ended, which would make her 18 and Eugene 23, I said she didn't leave Corona for the entirety of the first season of Tangled: The Series and then got wrapped up in the rest of the show's events so she'd at least be 21 since that's how old she was when the series ended and Eugene's 26th birthday happened in season 3. There's also her being 24 and Eugene being 29 if her and Eugene's wedding happened on the same day Iduna and Agnarr went to the Dark Sea and three years passed since then, though this relies on old lore about Iduna and Agnarr attending Rapunzel's wedding, though Iduna and Agnarr could have used it as a cover.
