Okay but what if Nancy got blackout drunk at a party one time while Jonathan was in cali and then wakes up in someone else’s bed in the morning, panics and climbs out the window.
At school she’s super anxious about how she’s such a bad girlfriend and how she betrayed Jonathan, but at the same time she can’t stop thinking about the mystery person who she slept with. All she can remember is their hands and how safe she felt.
She sits with Robin at lunch. Robin notices that she’s not eating and asks if anything’s wrong. Nancy tells her everything. Robin reacts a bit weirdly but Nancy doesn’t really notice since she’s feeling so guilty. Then Nancy asks for her help in figuring out who it was.
Robin seems conflicted and suggests that Nancy just puts it behind her, since she’s obviously feeling so bad about it. Nancy says no, because having a person who knows what happened is a risk until Nancy talks to them. Robin says she’s sure they won’t tell anyone. Nancy says we can’t be sure.
They spend all night going through the list of guys at the party. Robin was there too, and has better luck remembering who was there since she wasn’t as drunk. Then they narrow it down to any guys Nancy would find attractive enough to sleep with when drunk.
They make some calls, even talk to some of the people irl. Nancy says it’s all fruitless, and maybe Robin was right, but she just feels so so guilty and she doesn’t think she can live with herself or look at Jonathan the same again and at the same time she can’t stop thinking about mystery person.
Robin is a bit awkward but tries to comfort her. She tucks nancys hair behind her ears and wraps an arm around her shoulder, just trying to be there for Nancy when she needed her.
But those hands… they felt too familiar. Nancy puts together the scenes she remembers, but with Robins face. She never even imagined she had slept with a girl. And yet… everything seems to fit.
And then...
Idk should I write it?
