Maybe I'll have a daughter one day, and she can marry Binghe, and then our bloodlines will be intertwined? Oh but any desirable woman who could be my wife would also want to marry Binghe, so I guess I'll have to stay single forever. I guess I could adopt a daughter? I don't really know if a good opportunity for that will come up... I know! I'll use that one Magical Plot Device Item to make a female clone of myself, raise her as my daughter, and then one day when she's all grown up she can marry Binghe and then Binghe and I will be in-laws and officially family! Although now that I'm thinking about it, I'm a modern man and I guess it is kind of problematic to raise a kid entirely so she can marry a particular man one day. I mean it's Binghe so it's not as weird or creepy as it would be otherwise, because naturally everyone wants to be Binghe's wife, I wouldn't even need to suggest it to her it would just inevitably happen. Still, though. Probably not the best thing to plan out... I guess we'll just have to settle for being sworn brothers? Kind of a letdown.

aegon’s conquest movie adaptation potentially the most boring concept of all time ?

Ways to make it somehow conceptually interesting like at all:

- I think I straight up doesn’t work at all unless there is some form of significant conflict within their incestuous throuple marriage. Make Rhaenys an opponent of the conquest or something. Pit the women against each other. Extended Visenya Aegon divorce arc.

- Satirical fascism

-Aegon and Visenya are twelfth-nighting as each other the whole time

- Targaryens framed as at least a little bit evil

- Get it done in the first twenty minutes and do sons of the dragon instead

- Aegon always just offscreen/rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead

- Lesbian telenovela (HOTD did it first)

- Prolonged tragic adaptation of a Blackwood-Bracken failed marriage spiraling into civil war; Aegon is the Fortinbras wandering in after everyone’s dead to emphasize the meaninglessness of the violence

- Dornish hypernationalism

- Faith of the seven conclave

- Orys Baratheon POV where it is slowly revealed that being caught up in the prophecy and the call to adventure and glory has completely eviscerated anything good about him

- Courtroom drama

i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.

there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.

anyway, here's some of my favorite browser-based interactive projects and games, if you're into that kind of thing. 90% of them are on the lists that i linked above.

if you're ever thinking about making a niche project that only a select number of individuals will be nerdy enough to enjoy, keep in mind i've been playing some of these games off and on for 20~ years (Alter Ego, for example). quite literally a lifetime of replayability.

since this post blew up, i've been wanting to do an addition with all of the recommendations from the comments and tags. but there's a lot of them. some people might be crazy enough to sit down and seriously put them all in one post with descriptions. those people are honestly sick in the head.

I’m tired of over protective Liu Qingge, what about Liu Qingge with a completely warped understanding about what is a reasonable amount of risk or danger for people other than himself. You could have died when that rock flew at your head? But you dodged. I don’t see the issue.

Shen Yuan is very happy with this arrangement since he’s constantly being mother henned by everyone else in the wild, but it will not turn out well since he has the survival instincts of a grape.
