Aw roy thought he had a mysterious work relationship with batman where bruce gives him intel secretly but turns out it wasn’t actually bruce, and like why do i lowkey feel bad for him since he probably thought it was cool that he built a connection with batman and the worse part is that the fake batman was actually slade 😭😭😭😭😭

Thinking about Bruce putting some of Dick's old clothes into a charity bin to be handed out to kids in need in Gotham and then a couple of years later he is checking the tags of some of Jason's clothes because one of the moms sent a message around about people checking if their kid might have accidentally grabbed her kid's jacket by mistake and he finds a faded 'D. Grayson' tag in Jason's jacket and realises that Jason ended up with some of Dick's old clothes and is just standing there on the edge of tears.

i read tims robin origin story and i have thoughts

- it is an unspecified time after jason's death, but it seems pretty recent which feels a little odd

- everyone talks about jason in a very detached way and say "his passing" instead of like...his murder? its a weird watering down of what happened to him

- tim is just annoying as a character ngl

- he fully inserts himself into everything in a weird way, it feels like he's developed a para-social relationship with bruce and dick and thinks its real in some way

- the "batman needs robin" is stupid, he needs a support system not robin specifically. like dick and bruce were ready to let robin die with jason, which would have been smart, but for some reason a 13 year old's childish idea that his hero need to continue to exist in the same way even after the death of his child won and convinced them??

- batman needed therapy and a support system, not robin

- he openly admits he's dreamed about being robin, and jumps to doing it as soon as he can, so get out of here with the "he just became robin to help batman"

- his parents are literally fine, in his flashback they are being very normal and they put him in boarding school, they did not leave him in the house by himself, im tired of seeing it made out to be canon that tim's parents were abusive

- tim's whole recount of dick's parent's death was weird af, why would he say all that? like a random kid comes in and vividly recounts your parents murder to you and tells you he gets nightmares about it??

- jason was so valid to be angry about how this went down and im tired of people making his anger out to be irrational, it made me angry
