REWRITING THE MONSTERS (HONESTLY IT'S MOSTLY GOOMI)

I made a post about how I thought the second half of M&M was lacking and decided to give some more flavor to Debbie and Dort. I also mentioned in the same post that I wasn't super interested in the monsters which was why I didn't do anything for them...

Well I finally got an idea on how to integrate them better in the plot! Spoilers for the movie below, but ya knew that already.

DEBBIE AND DORT REWRITE

I really liked minions and monsters :] I had my doubts at first, but I ended up giving it a chance...it was a real fun time honestly, and it had Almost everything I wanted from a minions movie (which is just giving the main minions a solid base personality/driving motivation to move the plot along instead of being pushed BY the plot. i know that's the bare minimum but. james henry and even dick are my current favorite minions by far im ngl).

Even with all that though, I thought the second half could use some work. So in typical Gene fashion I'm rewriting the B-Plot a little bit. Putting my thoughts under the cut for SPOILERS !!

it used to be a hard tie between 1 and 2, DM2 was a lot more important to me personally and I LOVE lucy wilde. so much. but DM1 is generally a much more enjoyable watch for me. i think as much as lucy was super fun there's a lot of stuff holding DM2 down for me that I couldn't enjoy compared to when I was younger </3 so DM1 ranks number one for me

some older doodles i haven't posted on here! explorations with older edith [he/she/they]. i wasn't super convinced with their hat so i doodled some other designs! plus, i wanted them to have a hat forever and ever...but i also thought about giving them some fun hairstyles. im fond of the buzzcut ngl.
