Au where some random ass servant accidentally saw Fangxin guoshi's face once, didn't recognize him, and moved on with their life (they wouldn't wanna anger the scary guoshi, after all). Decades down the line, after the whole banquet massacre matter, they stumble upon a picture of the last crown prince of Xianle. (Don't ask me how.) Firstly, well, that sure explained the grudge! Secondly, fuck. Xie Lian, that Xie Lian (as if anyone else would be named ''Xie Lian'', lest their parents were trying to curse them), had not only been living in the royal palace and serving as the guoshi, he was also the maniac who killed the entire royal clan?! (uhh except the then-crown prince, but the details aren't important right now, alright!)

Now, from here on I have three routes. The first one: though they made this world-changing discovery, the servant is no more than a poor peasant citizen trying to make ends meet. All this political drama is much too far removed from the common folk. Moreover, the guoshi-matter has long since been resolved, so what point is there in dwelling on it? Even the young king who had to take care of it, has long since ascended and left the mortal world and it's affairs behind. Just as they did before, they say nothing and go on with their life.

The second one: for this one, you'll have to imagine that they're a bit noisier. Becaue isn't this a great scandal?! The Demon Fangxin was a man of Xianle, the prince, no less! And yet, the previous king (lqq) had not only claimed the opposite, he had even ended the segregation between the Yong'an and the Xianle people, as if they were truly one! Doesn't this mean that the king had either lied, or spoken without actually knowing the truth? Surely he would've looked under that mask after killing the guoshi? Is he even actually dead? What-

Their mind spirals, coming up with theories each crazier than the last, and of course they can't keep this to themselves. First telling their coworkers, then their friends, family, and any stranger that will listen, soon this absurd rumour has spread everywhere: the guoshi who massacred the royal family, was no other than the Laughingstock of the Three Realms! The court isn't too happy about this, and does their best to supress the rumours. Seeing it might have spread a bit too much, the servant stops speaking of it, before they trace it back to them. Who knows what troubles will arise from that... Yes, sometimes silence is a virtue! (I believe it may be a bit too late for that...)

Number two actually also has an alternate route, where it's discovered who's been telling the entire fucking country something so nonsensical, and the servant is declared mad. (rip)

The third one: well, in this one they sure weren't tempted to keep quiet! Seeing how generously the previous king had treated the Xianle people, surely the guoshi must've found a way to hide his identity even after his defeat! Bringing a most generous offering, they rush to the nearest Temple of Tai Hua. Here, instead of any usual prayer, they inform His Highness Tai Hua of their findings. (Well, they tell in their prayer, who know's whether he actually heard) Relieved, they head home. The rest is up to His Highness. (What will Lang Qianqiu do after hearing this prayer? idk this ain't about him)

shoutout to the mutuals i actually interact with regularly & big apologies to the mutuals i do not interact with regularly or the mutuals who i used to interact with but now do not. ily all

There’s some poetic irony in Shen Jiu, hated and percieved as an arrogant, spoiled young master, getting posessed by an actual spoiled salted fish type second gen, who everyone actually ended up liking for the kindness and lack of outwardly harmful coping mechanisms and behaviours that came specifically from og SQQ’s past as a slave

Wei Wuxian should go on a vacation and send word to Jiang Cheng to take care of the Tulu Xuanwu in my house and nothing else.

Jiang Cheng would rush over to see what happened, and that is how it will be discovered that Wei Wuxian got a turtle and named it after the murder turtle.

Things aren't going well in my country. I was studying a foreign language especially hard to leave and had little time for drawing (and the really bad news is, it was hard to make time for it)

cute yuwu commission for @salad4sgo !

you’ve successfully convinced me to read this one.  Thank you for commissioning me!

I absolutely ADORE how Binghe's mannerisms and behaviors in certain situations is something he gets from his parents. I'm so excited omg so when Binghe is in a situation™ and dealing with anyone who is shen qingqiu'nt, he's calculating, clever, distant, scheming even - just like su xiyan HOWEVER when he's with SQQ he's absolutely pathetic and drooling and absolutely reveling in being babied and cooed at by his shizun - just like how Tianlang jun genuinely enjoyed being su xiyan's sugar baby (zhuzhi lang's words)

and like, no one knows EXCEPT zhuzhi lang when he sees Binghe and SQQ together for the first time IMMEDIATELY clocking their dynamic, a deja vu of sorts, maybe something from a past life and it HITS HIMMMM, he sees young tianlang jun AND su xiyan in Luo Binghe

I think we need to talk about the new extra and specifically moshang more. We all remember Mobei-Jun CRAWLING out of Shang Qinghua's computer, but what about how Mobei-Jun cried for an hour straight cus he was sad about having scared Shang Qinghua?? Poor baby couldn't handle scaring his husband, I can only imagine how he felt after that one extra when he found out SQH doesn't like being beat. Then afterwards Mobei-Jun kidnapped him onto a mountain?? Then did who knows what to become so rich within only a couple days. This one paragraph made me especially laugh "the formerly decently-tall and reasonably-presentable Shang Qinghua now looked like an innocent high school student standing next to a domineering CEO."

Shang Qinghua Y/N x CEO Mobei-Jun confirmed.

The whole situation of Shang Qinghua ruining the system's plans of creating the world and having to make up for it by being sent into the story, only to sit on his ass the whole time cracks me upp. Shang Qinghua, the man you aren't. But then once Mobei-Jun entered the plot SUDDENLY he was efficient as hell with moving the story along. Well well well.

All in all, I need more fanarts of Mobei-Jun being a cry baby👀👀

i love love LOVE the complex friendship between the Xianle trio. there is so much to unpack, so many contradictory feelings, so many unsaid things and inexpressible emotions, but at the end of the day when XL ascends for the third time and needs help FX and MQ show up immediately. they conceal themselves, unwilling to express their friendship towards XL so easily (which in itself is so funny and revealing especially considering they BOTH came up with the same idea), but they cannot conceal much at all.

there is an absolute abyss between who they were when they last parted and who they are now, so many things have happened to each other that they couldn't even fathom, but their feelings haven't faded. they care about each other. they always have, and always will.

TGCF is incredibly good at being an epic love story but it's also so much more than that and everyday it makes me a bit more insane

So as I'm Ignoring™ the extras, I think it'd be very fitting/slightly funny if after Airplanes death PIDW gains a lot of traction

At first it's just a slight wave of new fans because the story is finally finished & the mixed opinions about the ending have a lot of people talking/posting about it. The usual stuff

Then 2 weeks pass and Airplane is found dead in his apartment. Forensics say he died exactly on the day the final chapter was posted. And people eat that UP. Nothing like a suspiciously timed death to get people talking

It spews all sorts of conspiracy theories, the next one weirder than the last (from a simple accident to -> he achieved his Life's Work and then killed himself -> someone forced him to write the story and then killed him and then even the joke of: Binghe used Xin Mo to teleport and took revenge).

New readers are joining the fandom, curious about The Chapter That Killed A Man (as one headline says).

There's also another joke going around that Peerless Cucumber finally snapped and killed him. People start @ ing him on posts & sliding in his DMs. No response. At first that's just weird because he's known for being chronically online.

Then he continues to not show any activity on his account whatsoever (even weirder) and people start tracing back and notice that he, like Airplane, has not been active since the day of the last chapter.

Which results in the next wave of attention. The conspiracies get even crazier (Cucumber killed Airplane then left the country, they faked their death and ran away together (nothing better than some enemies to lovers) (someone even suggests a murder suicide) and so on)

PIDW reaches a new height and the rumour mill is going crazy!!
