And preferably all of this should happen by next week

You know, I wanted this to be kind of a funny post of things I can actually do mixed with unachievable goals, but rereading this I've noticed that almost all of this is stuff I can actually achieve pretty easily or over time. That's kind of a relief to realize

Mike Wheeler who is so depressed he drops out of college and instead starts working in some nerdy little bookstore and it literally changes his life <3

#mike wheeler depression is something very personal to me#i feel like epilogue mike the way he seems right now#he'd not finish college#like just look at him#he's hanging on by a thread he is going to break under the pressure after having had like three panic attacks in one week#and he'll drop out and hide from all responsibilitys feeling like it's never going to get better#but it will!!!#it will get better with helf from his family and friends and by finding something that actually fulfils him and makes him happy#i don't actually think mike is the type of guy to strive for making it big#i think he would love a simple little life where he can be happy and surrounded by the people he loves#where he can still play dnd and write little storys for his friends and connect with people who share his interests#he wouldn't even want to be a big author like i truely think he'd be perfectly content if the only person who ever reads his writing is wil#like that's literally it#will i think would want to make a difference with his art and he doesn't do it because he wants to be famous#but i think he does want to make an impact#and i think mike would be very happy to just support him and then go and work his job somewhere where he feels safe and accepted <333#anyways#might need to actually write this fic now i fear#i initially only had that first idea of mike being depressed and dropping out and then my brain just. made more#oh well#maybe i actually will :>#lea's random thoughts#stranger things#byler#mike wheeler#will byers#mike wheeler has depression#byler endgame#lawless byler#my writing

Personal nsfw thought

#sorry making a lot of nsfw personal posts recently#i just. idk they help me lol#i wish somebody would fuck the depression out of me...#i wish i could like. have sex so good that i'm never depressed again#not to make this post about depression but it really need to get on antidepressants#i asked my doctor for it and she said i should wait for another month to see if i still need them then#and like make another blood test to see if everythings alleight there#cause like its a little difficult cause i already take meds for adhd#so i can't just take everything there is for depression cause the meds have to work together too or something#so idk the fact is that she said i should wait another month and i just feel like they always tell me to wait a little longer for everythin#like i need this now and so far i have been correct about almost every assumption when it comes to my mental health and what i actually nee#like my diagnosis or going to a psychiatric clinic or needing different meds for the adhd#i was right about all of those so when i say i think i need something for the depression then idk i feel like i'm probably right about that#cause i need it it's getting hard to do stuff and i don't think just changing my behavior will help me get through it anymore#like changing my behavior requires the strength and motivation I Don't Have#but if i can take antidepressants then i probably have that energy back#or at least enough to actually get bettet#so like. i don't want to have to wait for mental health help all the damn time#i want to get help Now#all the help i've gotten so far was good but i had to wait to get it for forever#i don't have endless years to waste on this i want to live my life again okay#i'm going to study something i'm really interested in in a few months and i want to be ready for that#i want to be able to participate in classes and enjoy learning and have the energy to do the work i need to do to actually finish that#school#i don't want to crash and burn and have to drop out because i couldn't handle the stress and pressure because i was depressed when i could#have gotten meds for that probably like months if not Years ago#hhhh anyways#back to the sex lol#it's so bad y'all i'm so exhausted all the time i just want somebody to take care of me :((#lea's random thoughts

kind of embarrasing when your life is actually going pretty well but you still have mental health problems. it's like when you drink water but still have a headache like what the hell. you're telling me this isn't because of the Situations i'm actually just like this. i want a refund.

highlights of the local TGWDLM production I saw tonight:

  • Mr Davidson. just Mr Davidson in general he was so good. he walked out onto the stage immediately with flawless energy and led the title song so well, he set the tone for the whole show. I will be mentioning him again I just had to give him a shoutout right off the bat.
  • when Paul missed his cue, Mr Davidson went offstage to try and find him.
  • Paul didn't enter at all until the opening song was FULLY over.

the intimacy of sleeping together, but not in a sexual way. the intimacy of feeling the warmth of their body in a cool room. their hands hugging you tightly. the intimacy of synchronized breathing. sleepy half-kisses. feeling safe. feeling warm. waking up and realizing how much you love them. how precious this is. finding the happiness on the tip of your fingers, brushing their hair. closing your eyes again. pulling closer. falling asleep.

Mammal in a Sunday Dress, by Georgina M. Cox, 2026

Mammal in a Sunday Dress explores the uneasy relationship between femininity, civilisation, and the animal body. At first glance, the figure appears modest and withdrawn. Her posture is composed, her gaze seemingly lowered towards her bare feet, recalling the conventions of nineteenth-century portraiture where women were often depicted as passive objects of observation. Yet as the viewer moves closer, the illusion collapses. Her eyes are not lowered at all. She is looking directly back. The delayed eye contact transforms the encounter. The viewer approaches believing they are safely observing a woman; instead, they realise they have been observed themselves. The work refuses the traditional power dynamic of portraiture, denying the comfort of anonymous spectatorship. Looking becomes a reciprocal act. For Cox, the painting considers humanity's persistent desire to separate itself from the rest of the animal kingdom. The title quietly undermines this distinction. A "mammal" is not another creature—it is us. The Sunday dress, rich with cultural associations of femininity, morality, and respectability, becomes an attempt to distinguish ourselves from nature. Yet clothing cannot alter biology. Beneath lace and ritual remains the same vulnerable animal body. The work also reflects on the historical relationship between women and nature. Across art, religion, and philosophy, women have repeatedly been positioned as closer to instinct, emotion, reproduction, and the body itself, while men have been aligned with reason, culture, and civilisation. Mammal in a Sunday Dress does not reject this comparison. Instead, it questions why proximity to nature has so often been treated as something lesser. Chiaroscuro isolates the figure within darkness, allowing the luminous dress to symbolise the performance of civilisation while the bare feet quietly return the body to the earth. Neither is presented as more truthful than the other. The painting exists in the tension between performance and instinct, refinement and biology. Mammal in a Sunday Dress ultimately asks a simple but unsettling question: if every layer of culture were stripped away, what would remain? Not a king. Not a saint. Not a gentleman or a lady. Only another mammal, looking back.

asked a student what their favorite animal was today and they said “a cheetah AND a sloth” and I said “wow smart, you’ve got both ends of the speed spectrum covered!” and they looked at me like I was the only sensible adult they’d ever spoken to
