ID: A screenshot of a Tiktok. It shows a Brown person with long black hair staring into the camera, text over them reading:

"white ppl always gotta throw in random words to avoid just admitting something is Indian/south asian. they will see a jhoola and be like 'gothic renaissance era antique celestial indoor swing' like girl that's from my nani's living room 🤦‍♀️"

End ID.

this is my first time in the pacific northwest. we drove through a forest so wet and foggy you couldn’t see the bends in the road ten yards ahead of you and it straight up felt like a horror game until we emerged into a sunny valley with a rainbow over it and then we went to a taco bell and in it there was a guy dressed like a hot dog and a guy dressed like hamburger. is it all like this

shelley gets a lotta fuckin cred for ozymandias despite only writing like one and a half lines and then just straight up quoting that traveller from an antique land he met for the rest of the poem

the callie + calder sibling relationship was forged in genuinely nice moments i guess but im on episode 70 and i feel like ever since callie differentiated her relationship with kenna (beloved younger sister) from her relationship with calder (twin brother you make fun of) it's like both axford and hurwitz just ran with it. there were plenty of bits before this but calder going "i clutch my veneer. callie is definitely going to try to steal it" without axford even saying anything really took me out......like we've crossed into the realm of bits over reality if you think your found family twin sister is going to steal the cap off your tooth. she literally would though haha she would <3

I love when Arabic loanwords get incorporated into other languages and they keep the al- suffix. I'm studying the gebra. It's a real the batross around my neck.

Found these pictures of the paintings I donated to the Discworld Convention charity auction... I thought I had forgotten to take pictures of them and I was kicking myself but fortunately I did! I wasn't at the auction but I've been told they went for a decent price :)

im having a crazy weekend. that being said i wonder if i would even have fun trying to watch the bbc watch series to have a bit of a laff or if it would just make me upset and not have fun with the experience. it's just that anna chancellor would 100% have been on my vetinari shortlist anyway and i want to see if she attacks the role with the same amount of camp that she did caroline bingley
