I've done the Korra -> AtLA designs, now time for some Aang -> AtLoK designs!

We've got Aang, the Avatar from the Southern Water Tribe. Katara, a modern airbending master and Sokka, her not-so-monkish brother. Zuko is the son of the Earth Kingdom's councillor who's been hidden away in Republic City after his father fractured his face. Toph is a blind Republic City heiress who prefers to moonlight as an underground fighter. Then Suki is a leader of a non-bending protection group of chi-blockers

And they're all part of Aang's sports anime

He discovered probending exists and made it his mission to put together the best team he can find: The Flying Lemurs. Sokka is the manager and only goes slightly mad with power

Some headshots for a fantasy story I'm working with about winged humans. It's been a lot of fun taking inspiration from different birds and trying to make thee designs distinct from each other

Left to right, top to bottom order:

Elin - The main character and member of the royal guard. She's throwing herself into this new stable job to avoid having to confront her complete absense of a personal life, having lost it all.
Caderyn - Usurper king who established his reign through shockingly quick bloodshed and is currently reworking things to stablisise his throne.
Llewellyn - Head of the royal guard and the former heir of a noble house, working dilligently under the king.
Angharad - Llewellyn's sister and current manager of their properties. A shrewd and calculating woman, but not unkind.
Dafydd (aka Dai Gwefl) - A member of the royal guard next to Elin. Always paired with Dai Gwyn to keep him in some sort of check.
Dafydd (aka Dai Gwyn) - A member of the royal guard next to Elin with the opposite of her work ethic.
Dafydd - A member of the royal guard with seniority, having worked to help establish King Caderyn's rule. As such, he gets to keep the name "Dafydd"
Doctor - A royal doctor moonlighting in a back-alley clinic. She's always where she's needed, even when not asked for.

I haven't sketched fullbody designs for them, but I have sketched out their wings

Absolutely! I can't really see Portia not wanting to be a mum. Lucio feels like he will/won't have children depending on his partner so they'd have a pretty big family.

I don't still don't think Nadia would want many children but they'd adopt at least oe.

The best thing about my twin sister being a writer is that I'm her target audience, so I get to design a set of cool, older villains.

It's so fun trying to design older characters and getting to explore different faces.

Vaughan - Everyone's boss and primary villain
Hammerhead - The second-in-command. Can't be bothered to deal with this shit
Nurse - The delightfully-ironic bruiser of the group
Johnston - Someone has to handle the paperwork
Roache - Handles the cogs in the larger machine. Aka the underlings working for them

(+bonus of their younger nights out and Vaughan just doesn't care)
