Two quick things:
Denise has a fabulous post about 'real name' policies that is worth a read if you are interested in such things.
Second: my housemate and I are now going to be recieving BOXES OF VEGETABLES. Like, organic vegetables that somebody else grew but which will MAGICALLY APPEAR AT OUR HOUSE. I am getting quite excited about this, but am an indifferent cook who has no motivation for lengthy and exciting cookery. But you, dear folk of the internet, might know of good recipe sites or other places which might actually inspire best use of this new bounty. Any suggestions?
From a nasty start, today has turned into a BEAUTIFUL day! And soon I am off for the weekend! I am a cheerful, albeit sleepy, Katie. How are you?

1) Cut up and eaten raw, in salad, or wrapped up in lettuce rolls (add peanut sauce for yumminess.)
2) Sauteed with garlic, onions or just salt & pepper. Eat over rice or noodles or with scrambled eggs or cooked meat. Makes good burrito filling too.
3) Roasted, after slicing and salting to taste.
More work, but yummy, is to make pesto out of pretty much any herb you get (grind up w/ pine nuts, olive oil and parmesan).

If you want Indian food, my all-time fave is talimpu - and yes, I cooked the runner beans & potatoes tonight, using my iphone. (I used the iphone to display the recipe, not to actually stir or slice or anything like that.)
Somewhat reservedly, stonesoup has some decent recipes, BUT, I think she's both weirdly obsessed with the 5 ingredient limitation and yet also inclined to cheat and, more importantly, she buys into the whole misguided, weight-loss thing. But still, decent recipes.
