Scheduling at my workplace is now being done by a computer. Note: not *with* a computer, but allegedly *by* a computer. Most of you are tech-savvy enough to know that computers make management decisions about as well as a trained chicken. My days off for each week are now variable in position, hopefully not in weekly quantity. Next week and the week after I'm been given Sunday and Monday off, but that doesn't mean I can rely on that for future weeks. Constant change requiring constant adjustment of my carefully-constructed life-skill task-accomplishment patterns. Joy.
