I really don't like the way Wikipedia deals with a lot of Japanese...things. There are three main issues I have with them: nonsensical Romanizations, westernizing names, and prioritizing English titles of Japanese works.

tl;dr

I subscribe to a philosophy of "Conservation of Translation". If something doesn't NEED to be changed, it shouldn't be.

Far more importantly, I don't believe Americans are too stupid to understand simple concepts like Eastern name order. Nor are we so xenophobic we have to be protected from scary foreign stuff like non-Westernized names or Japanese titles (or Japanese culture, for that matter).

Also, I am really baffled by the seeming hatred most people have for the letter "u". O.o

Government corruption.

Most other problems could be solved with that out of the way.

Of this year's movies, "Arthur Christmas" is adorable!

In general, the original "Grinch" cartoon is a tradition, and the "Muppet's Christmas Carol" is a personal favorite of mine. ^_^

Believe it or not, Monday.

Because, not only do I almost never work on Monday, but I usually do work all weekend, so that's often my first day off in a while.

More importantly, I get to start every Monday morning (9am, EST) with IENOMI. ^_^
