i don't know if any of you read babytalk magazine, but their "cover baby contest" is going on right now. it's basically a contest to get your little one on the cover of the magazine. i thought this was a really fun idea and think it fits with the idea of this community. you can visit babytalk.com for the offical rules and all that jazz.

My sister-in-law Amber mentioned she thought Kayla was getting another tooth at the top. Well its 3 days since Christmas, and my mom spotted the tooth and showed me. She IS getting a third tooth, first one on the top! She's also taking a few steps sometimes when you hold her hands and trying to stand more as well as lift herself to a sitting position. Needless to say without any aid so she doesn't quite get up all the way. I just wanted to share my excitement! Sorry for a second post in the day. ^_^;
