my yearly struggle

Weekly releases makes me so happy. enough of this "release everything all at once, binge and then be done" culture, we're getting back to the roots of REAL proper hype-building television structure again.

Literally a good portion of the magic of tv is the anticipation of waiting for the new episode. all of the speculation, the buzz, the hype, the being unsure of what's gonna happen next, the community and discussion between the down times..... that's what makes it feel so sensational. that's what makes it all GOOD.

Here’s the thing that really pisses me off about jumps vs artistry rivalries in men’s is that it’s always man who can only jump vs man who can do both and the point isn’t that artistry (performance, pcs, etc) is more important than jumps it’s that you need both!!! Being a crazy jumper should not be enough you need to be a complete package and in the Nathan vs Yuzu and Ilia vs Yuma comparisons the skater considered the “artistic” skater is also a crazy jumper!! Like yes jumps are important but they should not be enough on their own
