Need help in your job search? Boly:Welch is hosting a free 7-week series to help you uplevel your career. They will give you strategies and best practices to help you get results. You and your cohort will meet virtually once a week with Boly:Welch’s career experts. Throughout the seven weeks, they will give you assignments to help you clarify your goals, refine your resume, build a network, and identify opportunities for growth. 3/30 Deadline: ReConnect Fellowship

Are you interested in a meaningful clinical gap year before applying to medical or PA school? The ReConnect Fellowship offers college graduates paid, full-time clinical experience as medical scribes or medical assistants in federally qualified and rural health clinics serving medically undeserved communities. Fellows also receive mentoring, professional development, and guided support through the application process while building community within a cohort of peers. The program has fellows start in early summer Roseburg, Oregon and must commit to at least one year of participation. Applications are due on March 30th and will be interviewed in early April.

3/20 Deadline: Soil and Solidarity Farm Apprentice Position

Working Theory Farm is now accepting applications for their youth Soil and Solidarity Apprenticeship program. The program prepares young people between the ages 18 and 24 to be farmers, land stewards, educators, community leaders and more. This is a paid part-time, 2 year apprentice position at Working Theory Farm in Hillsboro, OR. Apprentices will be paid an hourly wage for both their farm labor and learning hours. The apprenticeship runs from April 2026 to November 2027 and are expected to work 20-23 hours a week. Applications are due on March 20th at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.

FoodCorps Oregon is currently recruiting members for the 2026-2027 school year in Oregon’s Hood River County School District. They partner with elementary schools and district leadership to engage students in hands-on food education and nourishing cafeteria projects. Their mission is to ensure all children have access to nourishing meals. 4/1 Deadline: Exotic Animal Care Internship

Lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my! Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge (TCWR) is looking for self-motivated and passionate individuals for a full-time, six-month animal care internship. Interns will be able to gain hands-on experience in exotic animal husbandry. Responsibilities include daily care of lions, tigers, bears, leopards, cougars, servals, and bobcats. The internship also includes free on-site housing, a weekly stipend of $100, and housing amenities such as paid utilities and internet service. Applicants must have a degree in Zoology, Biology, or a related field, or have relevant experience in exotic animal husbandry. Applications are due on April 1st, 2026.

3/15 Deadline: Presidential Associates Program at The American University in Cairo

Calling all seniors! The American University in Cairo (AUC) is providing graduating university seniors an opportunity to work at a international university, learn Arabic, and experience life in Cairo, Egypt. Associates will serve full-time for one year for FY2027, starting September 2026. Currently, there are is an open position in the Office of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs. Associates will be provided a monthly stipend, housing, private Arabic lessons, access to AUC programs, health insurance, subsidized trips around Cairo and Egypt, and more. Applications will be due on March 15th at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.
