Interested in getting involved with the campus and surrounding community? The McCall Center for Civic Engagement has just posted 6 open, on-campus positions. All positions include mentorship and opportunities to work alongside experienced peers. We’re looking for passion and growth potential, not a deep resume or tons of experience. We are a great team and would love to have you join us!

This internship is a great opportunity for students to learn and gain experience in public relations (PR), content creation, and civic engagement. Students will have the opportunity in taking impactful, educational, and fun responsibilities such as website content management, social media and digital engagement, and more. Students will get to practice knowledge they have learned from classes as well learn new strategies and leadership skills that will help them in the future.

Have a big love for animals? Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, the Wildwood Farm Sanctuary & Preserve holds a Public Work Parties at the sanctuary. Volunteers do farm chores, work on special projects, care for the animals, and share compassionate community. Everyone is welcome to sign up and join–rain or shine! They especially need your help as we head into the winter months.

Volunteers get paid in cow kisses, quality time grooming goats, and hanging with hens.

Want to get more involved with in-district congressional work? The Office of Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) is seeking interns for the Winter/Spring term of 2026! They are offering internships in both Washington DC and Beaverton, Oregon. All interns will receive a monthly stipend, and the hours are flexible to accommodate a student’s course schedule. The application deadline is November 3rd.
