Pixel art is too complicated for me. I thought I'd want to do Marsie too but I don't think I have it in me πŸ«ͺ

Some lore on Uri, since I never truly shared much about him:

πŸ”· Uri was born in a family of very academic people. They're all extremely educated and pretty much scholars. He has three sisters, two older ones who are married and have their big jobs at the capital, and a teenage one who looks up to him.

πŸ”· He tried to follow everyone's footsteps and got into college to study something serious, probably something related to numbers, but it was draining the soul out of him and it made him extremely unhappy. So, even if he felt very guilty for dropping it, he quit his studies and started doing odd jobs.

πŸ”· Needless to say his parents weren't happy about it. Mostly worried, they couldn't help but look down on more hands-on, less qualified jobs. They love Uri, so they did respect his choice, even if they didn't support it.

πŸ”· Working outdoors, physical jobs made Uri feel more motivated, and eventually he saw the ad from Mistria, so he took the opportunity, and ended up working in the mines, taught by Errol. Skinny appeared somewhere around this time, digging in Uri's trash at the farm.

πŸ”· Ironically enough, he ended up falling in love with the most academic scholar in town, but because Eiland understood what it was like to follow a different path from what your family had planned for you and the feeling of guilt and inadequacy it came with. (Reference to Eiland feeling guilty for pursuing Archaeology instead of doing what Adeline is doing).

πŸ”· Plus, Eiland never looked down on Uri, and respected and admired his work, which very often converged with his own.

Idk these are my delulus, thank you for coming to my UriLand TED talk ✨🫢

Realized that I completely forgot to post this comic all in one piece as I initially planned to!

For those who missed it the first time - this is the "origins" of the "Disgraced" version of my nameless Dark Urge character, in which he loses his duel against Orin and has to find alternative ways to stay out of Bhaal's grasp... How lucky for him that he has a loving partner that's eager to help ;)

oh wow love this
