moemI've joined a community that gives out writing prompts, much like Writer's Block used to do on LiveJournal, back in the day. Here's my first one...

questionoftheday asks: What mythical beast would you keep as a pet if you were able to? What is its care regimen?
My answer: A griffon, because it's on my family's coat of arms. Griffons eat mice and rats, and can catch them themselves (this is very practical, except for the cats being miffed because there wouldn't be any mice left for them to hunt). They don't need a lot of care but they do enjoy a good brushing now and then.
