i found in doing that "ask me..." meme, i mean, in asking questions from various friends on LJ that the hardest (serious) questions to come up with were for those i knew best. maybe it's because some stuff really doesn't matter if known or not once you find yourself caring for someone -- it's just fluff.

As though LJ needed another writing community *hangs head* ...I, with another, have created a new one. YAY! no, really - YAY! :)

5sentence_fics was created to meet the middle between drabble fics, and one sentence writing, to offer a writer's challenge. Write a ficlet in five sentences based on one of the themes provided in your character(s) of choice.

there will be no pairing/character limitation other than a theme table has to be completed before another pairing/character is selected.

it is a multi-fandom community, so any fandom - anima, manga, television, movie, book, original - you write it, it's acceptable.

and pimp to any who might be interested.

Duo x Heero 01/02 get-together fic: A Preventers, post EW story with a strong, self assured Duo rescuing Heero, ending with both of them in a relationship/bed with each other. [Note: No "braided bakas", simpering, emotion-dead Heero or similar stuff in the story, please.] [Note: Smut is appreciated, but need not be the main focus. I love a good story more. ]

First, I realized earlier today that I'd forgotten a drabble. I honestly thought I'd written it, but then, I'd been living in this universe for awhile now, and actually had in my head. So, here's the last drabble request - Trowa and Quatre set in the From Boys to Soldiers to Men universe, for meritjubet:

Summary: The start of the From Boys to Soliders to Men arc, this is the first of From Boys. Quatre is called to war, and his best friend decides to join him. This arc is the events and adventures of their time before, during and after Vietnam.

Title: Sunset, Author: merith, Fandom/Pairing: Cho Ni Naru Hi / Mikami and Uka, Rating: PG, Warnings: shounen ai, mild angst, Disclaimer: I do not own the story or the characters or the beautiful art, sumomo yumeka does.
Summary: Taken from the short manga story Cho Ni Naru Hi (translated, The Day Which Became a Butterfly), Uka is a boy who has been sick most of his life, and believed he was going to die. Mikami is a boy who has been lonely for most of his life because he can "hear" when someone is going to die. The two find each other and love in the manga story. I plan to connect the themes into their own short stories that are interconnected, and link to the manga. If you'd like a copy of the manga, please let me know and i'll link.
