So spending the holidays in Smallville wasn't so bad, even if Ruby didn't exactly celebrate any of them. The smells were good, the food was better, and even the music was okay when it was the instrumental kind that had a tendency to play downstairs in the Talon.

Of course one of the employees had decided that today was the day of the sickeningly upbeat variety, complete with the annoying and constant tinkling of bells. Since killing said employee was not an option, this was her cue to get out.
