August Prompts Set 1 [1.2]: Hercaltius Quote.

She doesn’t remind Mohinder that the day before she was almost killed and became an orphan in one day, but it’s been so long since she’s seen him smile and keeps it to herself. Within moments they’re home and he’s doing everything a father is supposed to do with their daughter: play dress-up (however begrudgingly), tea parties and trying to council her Barbie dolls about their romantic tiffs with one another. She knows he thinks it’s ridiculous but he does it anyway.

He’s her father, now. He tells her it’s his job to make sure she has a reason to smile.

Molly does, and Mohinder tells her he can see why his mother calls her Ujala.

Tossing her covers away Molly groggily sits up in her bed, covered with sweat—when did the air conditioner stop working?—swinging her long over the bend. “What time is it?” The only person that answers is Matty, who is still crying. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she darts her sapphire orbs to the alarm clock on her nightstand.
