fic: no wonder, no wonder (other half) (2/7?)

Happy Halloween! Here, have two treats: a super-short Erik/Charles tidbit, and the next chapter of the McFassy Fairy Tale. :-)

Title: trick or treat
Rating: R for implied sex?
Word Count: 119
Summary/Notes: Halloween and bad academic jokes for pangeasplits.

"Halloween is interesting,” Charles said, shutting the door on the trick-or-treaters. “The customs. The history. The word trick comes from the Latin. Triccare. To shuffle or be evasive.”

"This is an evasive maneuver," Erik said, and kissed him.

"I’m not sure that’s evading anything," Charles said, "your lips found mine extremely accurately."

"I’m evading your lecture. Any objections?"

"Not if you kiss me again," Charles said, and then there was sex.

Afterwards, lying contentedly in bed, Charles poked Erik and observed, “The first use of the word trick to mean a prostitute’s client was recorded in 1915.”

"Charles," Erik said, "do you just want more sex?"

"I’ll keep lecturing," Charles said happily, "and you can practice your tricky maneuvers."
