autumn extravaganza prompts masterlist!

Hi, all! Here's the list of all the prompts that were submitted, now open for claiming!

Rules reminder, very quickly:
1. in this first round, you may claim as many prompts as you want that were submitted by different people--that is, we're trying to make sure everyone gets something, so if Person X submitted prompts 1, 2, and 3, and Person K submitted prompts 4, 5, and 6, you may claim prompts 2 and 6, but not 2 and 3.
2. you may claim a prompt that someone else has already claimed if you also claim another unfilled prompt. For example, if you really want to write or make art for prompt 2 and prompt 6, but someone else has already claimed prompt 2, and no one has yet claimed prompt 6, you may claim both 2 and 6, but not just 2 by itself. (Essentially, this is a reward for picking up unfilled prompts, and also hopefully a way to make claiming fair for people who come by to sign up later in the day.)
3. once we know that every person is getting at least one thing, the second round of claiming can start--at this point, any of the prompts are fair game, whether they're by the same person, or already claimed, or what have you. Go nuts. Be awesome. You will know when the second round starts because shayzgirl or luninosity will make an announcement. Or you can keep an eye on this space and beat us to it.
4. sign up in comments to this post--if you can't leave a comment, for whatever reason, let us know, via message or on tumblr or whatever's easiest, and we'll work something out. When you sign up, list the numbers of the prompts you want. You don't have to tell us whether you're doing fic or art or pottery or knitted figures or interpretive dance, but you may want to, just to let your prompter know what to expect.
5. can you sign up to do a fill even if you didn't leave a prompt? yes you absolutely may, if you are that generous and kind-hearted a person and want to make something with no expectation of a present in return.

1. Blankets, cozy evenings, cuddling against the chill. Perhaps it’s the first autumn they’ve spent together; and pumpkin-spice flavors and shared candlelight are even better when falling in love.

2. Oh, horror! They’ve run out of coffee. Michael cannot let James wake up without coffee, especially when it’s this cold in the morning. Clearly he has to solve this problem. Fast. By any means necessary.

3. James will go slightly out of the way to step on a crunchy-looking leaf. Michael finds this adorable.

4. Watching classic horror movies (because James is going to be Dr Frankenstein, after all) together. Possibly with a power outage just at midnight…

32. Prison AU: Michael is a criminal in prison, and James is his guard. You can take it from here wherever you want.

38. the old Xavier mansion and a haunting. I'd really like it to be creepy rather than silly. (mods' note: in general, we try to discourage Charles/Erik focused works just because there're so many other excellent places for that, and we'd like the focus to be on the McFassy and their other character pairings, but using the mansion as a setting, or background Erik/Charles, or crossover-type stories are okay!)

39. Coffee shop au! Pumpkin flavoured pastries and hot cocoa and autumn rains.

40. Start of school year, one as the new transfer student.

41. Brandon/Johnny, Nothing says I love you like a walk in Central/Hyde Park (up to you if you prefer New York or London as a base~), hand holding, perhaps some eskimo kisses that leads to something sweet?

42. Brandon/Johnny, Photographer AU, Brandon as Johnny's new patron and muse. Johnny Martin has been rather down on his luck lately. He's a starving artist with a trademark black and white photography that has a certain harshness, a brutal honesty about it that ought to have skyrocketed him to fame. And yet it hadn't. Enter Brandon who Johnny happens to notice whilst taking a walk in the park with the autumn leaves falling about him. (I HAVE A THING FOR PARKS).

43. Brandon/Johnny, The woes of celebrating halloween during a bloody snow/rainstorm are the bloody power outages that has Johnny cursing up and down, attracting the attention of his rather handsome neighbour who has come to offer coffee/pie...

44. James and Michael and a haunted house. (Or a haunted castle in Scotland or Ireland, as you please!) Stormy nights and sputtering candles and unquiet ghosts.

45. Red Riding Hood AU. A night in a lonely cabin in the woods, and James deciding for himself whether he actually needs to be afraid of the stranger who's made himself at home in his grandparents' house...

46. James, Michael, and a seance. Maybe they're attendees who find themselves affected by the spirits in the air (and each other...), or one is the spirit of the pale young man lying in the bed upstairs, and the other manages to lead him home, or something else entirely! Victorian AU optional (but awesome!), although, in that case I would prefer it still be James and Michael rather than any of their characters; my Jane Eyre feels are such that I can't do Rochester without Jane ;)

The steps on the hillside lead to a cabin covered in moss and ivy, and James is the man who lives inside - that is, if man is entirely the right word. Some say fairies live in these woods, some whisper of other things... not that it particularly matters one way or another, but Michael can't help himself from wondering.
