Let's have a party!

Hi, everyone.

After seeing the display of Halloween candy already out (and purchasing more sour straws than I can eat in four years)  I wanted to have a party. So you are all invited to my LJ  Monster Mash from noon Oct.31 to noon on Nov.1.

Costumes are not require, but are encouraged. I think I'll be dusting off the old fairy wings.

maenaine mentioned something while we were motoring down the highway about wishing she could have an online Christmas party and I was all, "Dude, you should totally use my community!" Well, mine and Vesica's. Anyway, the point is: There's a party this Friday, December 22. Short notice, I know, but it'll still be fun. Especially since maenaine is hosting, so it won't be left up to my shoddy memory to get things going.

Thus ends our last party for this year! Hope everyone had a good time and made some new friends!

Right now, our next party is scheduled to be sometime in March, but Myn and I may get antsy and move that up. Also, I would love to write up a little "About LJ Cocktail Parties" blurb suitable for reposting and see if we can't get some more friends of friends to join and host parties. It's nice to be able to participate some rounds as a party-goer only.

So mynuet and I keep doing polls and it takes forever to plan a party...and yeah.

After the last poll, we totally forgot we were even doing a party.

SO...our second (and possibly last) party of 2006 will run from Noon on Sunday October 29th until Noon on Tuesday October 31st. As you might guess, they will probably be Halloween parties.

For 2007, I propose right now that we do a party in March, June, September, and early December.

I will be back later to remind you all about our impending party and post the "Let's Get These Parties Started" post.

On the one hand, the 22 gives us more time to plan, on the other hand, the 1st is now and it's Immie's birthday.
