I really like how this movie looks - the use of bold colours and sharp lighting is striking. Unfortunately, the plot is thin, acting bad, and there's a whole scene just to infodump the background story. And while the music score is one of my Goblin favourites, it's overplayed and too loud.

Before the movie I was worried about the runtime but the movie flew by. Just as I started to think we've seen enough aerobics and butt closeups in shiny thongs, the movie really began and there was no stopping. There are several nods to other movies and film makers, some more subtle than others.
Great body horror and gore. The squelching sound effects play a big part.
