Such well realized characters. Beautifully directed action and texture; no one else doing it like Saulnier. Deeply disappointed by the literal cop out ending.

Who doesn’t enjoy watching a man fuck up for three hours, especially when it’s lit and staged like a Caravaggio painting. Kubrick’s funniest and most human movie. My favorite movie.
