Confused as to how no one told me how bad this movie is.

Alarm bells started ringing once the subject’s name, “Elisabeth Sparkle” was revealed in the first couple of minutes. Thankfully, this forced a shift in expectations as I settled into this truly arduous viewing. The world building was confusing and inconsistent, the themes were somehow more shallow than that of Barbie, the actresses had little to no opportunity to, well….act, the endless references to superior movies were stomach…
