John Travolta’s tumid vegetable head, widening and membranous, casts a rainbow sheen in the dark water

Couldn’t resist a second helping of Seagal’s mojo blues in this phantasmagoric Delta thriller. 

I didn’t realize this was written by Seagal. There’s a cool editing technique wherein every action is shown multiple times in rapid succession, almost always from the same angle. Seagal makes a man bite the edge of a bar and slaps his head a handful of times until his teeth splinter. He’s always too busy to have sex. 

It’s hard to find fault here, really something special.
