this is the third piece of school shooting related media i have consumed in 3 weeks. the drama, innocence, and now this. the first two come from european perspectives but this finally was the american take.
why this sudden influx of school shooting dramadies now? i dont know… but this movie i think finally nails the empathy and complexity that is lost in the other two.

like sure i guess ? i think everyone acted really well but when i keep thinking abt it, i keep thinking abt how flat it all fell. i enjoyed it overall but the midjourney marty cardboard cutout was one eyeroll of many i was experiencing by the end.
