Likely the best biopic we will ever know. Didn’t know a thing about robbie until i watched this. All 5 people in the theatre were equally as moved by the experience—and boy was it an experience. i felt anxiety, pain, loss, discomfort, fear; but also joy, love, reconciliation, and fond family memories. don’t get me started on the visuals and choreo. basically combine la la land with hairspray but in the UK. forgot that he was literally a monkey about 30 minutes in.
