Knowing that Harmony Korine wanted to distribute this by leaving it on a sidewalk somewhere, or placing various parts of the film at different flea markets to be unearthed at random and eventually pieced together as a whole, is the most Harmony Korine thing I’ve ever heard. I love it.

I love Terrence Malick's obsession with clouds. The contrast between the endless landscapes and fleeting clouds makes the crimes committed by Kit feel almost senseless and tiny against such a massive world. It really shows just how temporary their whole journey is against the plains.
I went on Tubi to watch Mulholland Drive and saw they made a Terri Joe movie, so of course I had to watch it. It’s kind of what I expected for a Tubi original starring a TikToker, but it wasn’t bad. Low-key this generation’s Madea, imo.
I do think cheap movies like this are worth watching once in a while. They make you more appreciative of mainstream performances and remind you there are levels to this acting shit.
