This movie commits one of my least favorite sins of horror films and it’s the excessive screaming. It adds nothing to the film. Stop doing it.
Outside of that, there are some incredible shots in this movie and it’s definitely a classic. Feels very artsy often times. A number of incredible scenes does in fact keep me in on the pro Texas chainsaw massacre side.
This movie is a PSA to not let your car run out of honks and to use less cumbersome wire when securing gates and doors.
This movie is bizarre from the acting and dialogue to the score. Honestly, most of this movie rules for a B movie but there are definitely scenes that are way too drawn out.
A story of perseverance under a totally oppressive system. The soundtrack makes the movie even more depressing as I’m sure the intent was.
Without spoiling, this movie shows that the most unlikely allies appear when you need them in dire straits. Often times they have been rooting for you for a long time.
