a little before bed rewatch.

while i question the necessity of a few scenes/shots, i also wish it was 3 hours long and went deeper into the lore. noriko's dinner table doesn't hit quite the same.

lots of funny bits but idk i didn't laugh out loud as much as i expected

really liked the ending, i'm always into the blurring of reality and fantasy

this is exactly the kind of art house meta shit that i'm into, but the allegations against sion sono make this film feel pretty icky

(i know they probably treated the gecko... okay... behind the scenes but i don't like seeing it in the bottle even briefly)
