Anyone alive in here or did you all drive your trucks out onto the ice and fall through (yes, this happened when I was at school there...they never did find the truck....)

Hello, we are two students at Rochester Institute of Technology currently engaged in an independent study project addressing the issue of hazing. The goal of this project is two-pronged - we wish to discover the prevalence of hazing in the state as well as get your opinion on what should be done about it, if anything.

Under the lj-cut is our survey, which asks a variety of questions about your personal experiences with hazing, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a minute or two from your time to fill it out really quickly. We even have questions at the beginning for those who have never experienced hazing but wish to share their opinion on the subject. Additionally, each question gives you the option to answer in more detail beyond the choices we have already provided. We encourage you to take advantage of this if you have more include in your answer.

Your responses to this survey are anonymous, so please do not put your name (or any information that would identify you) anywhere on this survey. You may quit the survey at any time and for any reason, or you may decline to answer any of the questions, but your responses to every question are important and we ask that you answer as many of the questions as you possibly can. You may post your answers however you like - under your user name, anonymously, or you may e-mail them to us at hazing.survey@gmail.com. Hi, I am a senior in high school, and Keuka sent me some information on the school. However, I dont think it had much to say.

What do you guys think of the school? Are there a lot of students? is it a hard school to get into?

What kind of people are there? I would rather not go to a school where everyone is on a sports team and listens rap and drinks every night.

anything else you want to share: Keuka is very tiny, if you don't like the 'highschool' feeling of the place, it aint for you... everyone knows everyone... not too bad though, met the love of my life here, and a bunch of great friends

Is anyone a criminal justice major? Can you tell me anything about the program, like experiences, opinions, etc? Thanks!

I got a financial aid package that allowed me to relax about affording going back to school. Today, however, I got a bill for almost three grand for additional expenses not covered (as far as I can tell) by financial aid. Grrr. This might make things very complicated, and I'm worrying. I'm also going to make a personal visit to Keuka on Monday. Cross your fingers!

I traveled down to Keuka today. Everything was beautiful.. Or maybe I'm just more apt to noticing now. It's hard when you're a student and have to be more focused on school work than the surrounding natural area. The campus was decorated for the Alumni convention, too.

ANYWAY...the mystery on why I havn't yet gotten any paperwork about the fall semester is solved. I havn't paid the 200 dollar fee yet. I was expecting a fee, but hadn't even gotten a paper saying that I was charged THAT in the mail. "Didn't you get it with a letter saying you were accepted?" Um, no, I didn't even get THAT letter. I was just told face to face that I'd been accepted.
"Oh. Here you go, then," and I'm handed a form to fill out. *sigh* I'm not thrilled with coming up with that much money, bills are killing me as of late, but...*Grins* Just over a month to go, guys! And you know what makes the first day of classes extra special? It will be my birthday!!! Now how's THAT for a gift? =-) Yay, back to KC! =-)
