I'm an Organic Whore
I am in love love love with my new shampoo. Last month I picked up Giovanni's Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and Conditioner. (Giovanni's website is here, but it is sadly obnoxious with music you can't seem to turn off.) It's all happy and organic and vegetarian and Leaping Bunny certified (no animal testing/cruelty-free). Tea tree oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil, thyme oil, lavender, yarrow, other stuff, and no sulfates. They brag that it's a natural skin antiseptic and moisturizer to alleviate dry flaking scalp, unclogs pores and brings increased circulation to the scalp, cleans and clarifies hair and scalp of dirt, chlorine, chemicals, and build-up from other hair products. "Of the essential oils, Tea Tree is a very well known natural antiseptic. Rosemary and Eucalyptus condition and protect the hair and scalp form oxidizing elements while Peppermint, as a natural stimulant, gives a pleasant 'tingly' sensation to the scalp. All combined, this tri-functional shampoo brings back to hair, body, luster and life." It's definitely tingly! Very cooling and makes my hair look great.
[Special note to
ladybug218 and
koshkaphoenix -- there's some in the In Case of Nic Break Glass bin if you want to try it. :) ]
Then today while I was killing time at the drug store while my car was being poked at, I found Giovanni's Cool Mint Lemonade Salt Scrub with Crushed Mint Leaves. Had to get that, of course. Mmm. I smell like a mojito now.

From Vyseryn's wife...
However, these products look awesome. In your opinion, would it work on very dry hair?
