Hello and Welcome to Wilted Rose, a bi-weekly fanfic contest centered around the Inuyasha character Kikyou.

How we work: Every two weeks, a prompt is given along with a word count, and you are free to interpret it as you wish. At the end of a two week period, the prompt ends, and a voting post goes up for the entries. Members vote for their top 3 favorite fics, and after several days of voting winners are announced and awarded with banners.

As always, there have to be rules, but no worries! They're nothing you haven't seen before if you participate in other fanfic contests. So without further ado...

Community Rules

All works of fiction must be centered around Kikyou and include her within the main plotline

All entries must be new material

Only works of fiction related to the contest may be posted.

Your works must relate to the prompt in some way, whether directly or indirectly. You are encouraged to make your own interpretation.

Only one entry per person, per prompt.

Word Counts are given and must be followed. If you go under (unless it's a drabble which is 100 words) it's fine, but no going over. If you go over, your entry will not be counted.

Adult content is allowed, but must be locked to the community and clearly marked with a warning.

Please check your entries before submitting for grammatical errors. We all make mistakes, and little ones will be looked over, but if you have consistent errors in your fic, it may be disqualified.

Please tag your posts accordingly with your pen name and the week. If you do not have an author's tag yet, let one of the mods know, and one will be made for you.

Voting Rules

At the end of each prompt a voting post will be put up with all of the entries for that week. You will comment with your top 3 choices using this format:

1st - A
2nd - B
3rd - C

If less than 5 entries only a 1st place winner will be awarded

Voting for your own entry is NOT allowed.
