Q: I want to participate in one of the ongoing challenges. How can I do this?
A: Visit our Banner Pick-up Post and follow the instructions for claiming a personalized banner.

Q: Why can't I post?
A: This community is closed.

Q: Can we write stories for the previous drabble prompts to earn the tokens?
A: While you are free to use the previous prompts to write stories, the tokens were a limited-addition thing, so you may not claim them.

Q: I placed in a recent contest. Where’s my banner?
A: Many apologies for the delay. We’ll catch up with the bannering backlog over the next few weeks. Everyone who placed in a contest (or in some cases, earned a participant’s banner) will receive their due!

Because It's Monday...

Happy New Year!
Eldest and I are working steadily on wrapping up all the loose ends in this community. While the settings have been changed so that members can no longer post, we’ll be doing banner posts until we’re all caught up. Then, I’ll do a final wrap-up post, and we’ll call it complete. The community will remain here as an archive of your work.

Challenges
As I mentioned earlier, we’re extending the deadline for ongoing challenges until June 2013. You can continue to participate, but you won’t be able to post your installments here. Simply add to your stories in the places you usually post them, then request a banner from Eldest. She’s laid out what she needs from you here.

General IY Communities
Some of you may know that I run other fandom communities. For now, two of the oldest ones on LJ will remain open—iyfic_contest and iyissekiwa. These contest communities are “general,” so you have the opportunity to write all the various IY characters/pairings. Members of dokuga_contest are welcome to join in the fun over there. *Please bear in mind that these communities don’t allow entries with adult content.
