Here is my game, Hope you like it! Lucky You by ChazRoyalty

I like the design of the character a lot and the animations are fun and stylized. Wish the bazooka some explosions. But the concept is really cool, and it gets really hard trying to stay alive. I like how you have some warning when a new obstacle is spawning.

give this one a spin :) Lucky You by ChazRoyalty

I like the alien designs and the music is great. Didn't quite understand all the uses of the lenses, but I like the concept a lot, its def something worth expanding on

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! Yes this is my first game I have made and posted to the public. I have made some small games for assignments through for classes at my university, but those usually followed prompts and preset codes. This is the first one I had the freedom to make whatever I wanted and actually pour my skills I have learned from programming, concept art, and 3D modeling to make something cool. I'm happy you like the characters. I hope to add more in the future and hopefully get some dialogue in, even if its just little quips and voice lines. And yes, Rascal is likely the toughest opponent, but he also has very low health, you must take him down before he hits you with the Rascal Death Spiral :D

The visuals are so great, love all the drawings. The Hamster models are so cute. You should totally add like and upgrade tree or something to deepen the gameplay. Also id suggest making it more clear when you put a sibling to bed, like how there is a prompt for grab I felt there should be one for "put to sleep" or something. Fun Game overall!

Artwork is top notch. Beautiful visuals. Fun and unique mechanics with a cool story to follow along with. Great Work!

Well I'll be damned, the world did end

Love the art style and the music is great. I wish it taught you a bit more how to play before throwing you straight in. Took me over halfway through the song to figure out how to hit notes (could be skill issue that I didn't read but I didn't see the text box in the bottom right, and even after I didn't fully know what it meant until a bit of trial and error). But nonetheless, I love the concept and Reggie is adorable

Love the cat pics and the little story with the surprise ending. Would love some more sound FX so that it's not just silence as the wheels spin for you. Neat! (my cat sat on my lap while I played this)

Cool idea and unique concept for a fun game. I cannot see that curser at all though. Didnt even know there was one until after I hit play, almost discouraged me from playing...glad I stuck around though

Very cool and polished game. Feels like Stick Fight but with different abilities. Great Job!

Great game. Love watching all the critters run away in little Tposes its s funny. Love the leaderboard feature, wish i added that to my game in time.

Cool vibe and interesting concept for a game. Starts pretty tedious but builds up pretty well. Wish there was some kind of background music or ambience to fill the silence. Also if the button for progress dialogue was separate from the button to cure nausea

The game is so sick. Love the art style and feel of the game. Not a lot of spinning but I love the idea of a humanity "currency"

The faces on the side had me dead. Fun concept and a really simple cute story. Very polished for what it is. Was very do able with a trackpad as well

Cute art style and environment

Thanks for Playing! When you run out of cards it does warn you to draw more, I just felt it adds more immersion to the game. All cards are sorted into different categories and I plan to add a feature where if you have an abundance of one category in your hand then it will give you something different to help prevent you from only getting healing cards when you don't need them or only damage cards when you're on the brink of death. I tossed a discard mechanic around in my head for a bit because it would be helpful, just thinking of the fairest way to implement it. And I do have plans for cards to effect wheel luck ;)

Thanks for Playing! Happy You Enjoyed! You are so right about VR, maybe ill look into that in the future :D

This game is SOOOO COOOL. I love the different bullets and the art style is amazing. The UI is so well made. Tutorial guy is so fun, id just suggest he gets to the point so I can play.

this game is so cool! I love having to go to the gym/arcade t upgrade your stats and all the little npcs and background characters are so charming

Fun game. I like all the controls and being able to change your speed adds a lot of depth

Game looks really good and is really fun. Love the art style

Thats so funny and creative to make the dog chase its tail at mock 10 speed to KO cats. Great game!

This is a really cool game. Music is great. Upgrades are sick and it plays out really well!

Cool idea. I love these news spinning games because its a fun touch on the genre

Such a creative concept. Nice art. Super fun idea to twist the news around. Really have it out for Hyneman. It would be neat if you had a little box for conjunctions and adverbs to help build more sentences with good grammar as sometimes you get really limited, especially if you are trying to fit the prompt

Great visuals and fees fun to play with interesting controls.

Cool concept. Love how the planets have special abilities

Amazing UI and card animations. Great concept of a game!

Great art style and cool mechanics and upgrades

This was really well put together. Amazing art style and vibe. Creative twist on a wheel spin mechanic. Kinda similar to my game in the case of cards and a wheel spin, but your wheel is really important and customizable which is really cool. The UI was so fluid and satisfying

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed! Great feedback as well. After many playtests and run throughs of the game you can definitely get cooked by the enemy overhealing, but in some cases that's just the Luck of the game. I have thought about adding some sorts of healing reduction to specific characters, namely strong man as you deal less damage to him but he heals fully (1 step forward 2 steps back), but then there are cases where you get a good hand and he doesn't and you beat him up. Of course, in that case there isn't much control in the player, but I also feel that when I implement more cards with unique effects, the card pool will be more diverse and overhealing won't be as much an issue. A tutorial fight Is absolutely something I would like to add, I just didn't have the time for the jam. (You're telling me people DON'T want to read the super lengthy clearly exaggerated binding contract that signs your life away to the wheel ;)

Thanks for playing! I have plans to add sounds and VFXs to the cards and other things to make it more clear on what's happening... as soon as I learn how to make VFX

The characters were very fun to draw! Glad you liked them and the game :D I have heard many comments about the UI and will for sure be sliming it down a bit and making it more streamlined

Thanks for your feedback! Happy you enjoyed! I do have plans to implement sort of a Luck system that can be influenced by cards to get better wheel spins...or even curse your opponents. I will definitely make it more clear on what the enemies do while playing, I also plan to implement the Codex which tells you exactly what that do.

Happy you enjoyed it. The risk mechanic was fun to implement because I found during playtesting people would avoid the wheel too much. I have heard many comments on the HUD and I agree and plan to slim it down in the future!

Sometimes you can get Lucky sometimes you can't. I agree that the wheel and cards can feel separated at times but the wheel is meant to work as a risk to try and get ahead if your cards aren't playing out. I have ideas for future cards/wheel outcomes that can shake up the game a lot and feel more connected

I have heard it does that on some instances and then runs perfectly for other people and I don't really know the reason. Happy you liked it though! :D

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm excited to see where I end up with it as I already have ideas for the future
