So after having this game for a good, mm, six years, I FINALLY beat Parasite Eve.

God I love this game. The final boss is INSANE.

You kill him, he evolves.

You kill him again, he evolves again.

You kill him again, he evolves AGAIN.

You kill him again, he evolves AGAIN.

You kill him again, and -

Aya: OH MY GOD!!! Is there ANYTHING on this ship that will get right of this?!! (gotta love the use of exclaimation points in this game.)

And then you run around an aircraft carrier trying to find the self destruct switch, while this damn thing is oozing after you, and if it touches you, you DIE. So much for my infinite life cheat. (I've attempted to beat this game a good three times now and always get hung up on the final boss. I'm allowed to cheat if I have the rest of the game memorized!)

But now I've beaten the game, and it is a sweet, sweet feeling. Until I realized that I can play through the game again, and I'll have to, if I want to get the super sweet ending, because the second time around is on hard mode and that gives you a different ending.

I love this game so much. I wonder how hard it would be to find a translation of the book it's based on...
