1. Reply to this post with 'Icons!', and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
I love young, dorky Jun. And I love it when he hangs off his bandmates,
especially Aiba, for obvious reasons. Plus I like Sunrise Nippon. It's a fun
song and a cute PV. And there's a reason why one of my tags is 'they were so
cute when they were little'.
This one is entirely for it's esthetic value. Aiba just looks so casually sexy,
with that hint of wind catching his shirt and hair. I'll take one to go, please.
This is for my occasional silly posts. Mimura might just be my favorite role of
Sho's, for all that he doesn't look like he belongs in high school. And I loved
this scene with Mimura being all serious while he's being praised, then making
this face as soon as the teacher's back is turned. While I doubt Sho was really
like that in school (sorry Sho, but I can't picture you as anything but the
teacher's pet), it's fun to imagine.
Confession time: Maou, and specifically truth, is what brought me
into the Arashi fandom. I'd watched several dramas at that point, though Jun and
Sho were the only Arashi members I'd paid attention to, despite knowing of the
band's existence. I actually started watching Maou for Toma, because Ohno
was still a non-entity to me at that point. I'm so happy that Ohno was cast in
this role, though, both because it brought gay rainbowland into my life, and
because he was absolutely amazing in it. What a hell of a drama to start with.
As for this icon itself, it's pretty simple, I just really liked that photoshoot.
I want to make some icons from the drama itself eventually, but I'm not quite
ready to watch it again yet. Someday, though, because I promised I'd show it to
my mom.
If I hadn't already loved Ohno before I watched Uta no Oniisan, I would
have melted into an even bigger puddle of goo than I did. His acting skills
never cease to amaze me, and he's a master of physical comedy as well. His
whining and saying that he's not an idol and can't smile like one amuses me to
no end. So this is for my occasional whiney posts, when I'm not trying to be
really serious about it either.
This is apparently the tracklist for Arashi's choice songs for the LE, according to YesAsia.
33. ONLY LOVE
34. 夏の名前 (Natsu No Namae)
35. 素晴らしき世界 (Subarashiki Sekai)
36. Yes? No?
37. COOL & SOUL
38. Oh Yeah!
39. Be with you
40. Still...
41. Re(mark)able
42. 僕が僕のすべて (Boku ga Boku no Subete)
I have to say, I'm really happy to see Subarashiki Sekai, Yes? No?, Oh Yeah! and Be With You included, because they are some of my non-single favorites. Especially Yes? No?, because I seriously adore that song. This makes me all the more excited to get the album, though I still definitely want to see new stuff soon too. And I've been toying with the idea of getting the RE as well, though not necessarily pre-ordering it, because what if there's different stuff in the shorter booklet? Truly I've been infected by the rainbowland craziness for worrying about the booklets. XD

Mimura might just be my favorite role of Sho's, for all that he doesn't look like he belongs in high school.
Okay, I thought it was amusing that Sho played a preschool teacher (Yoiko no Mikata) BEFORE he played Mimura, a high schooler. Haha. It happens a lot though, that the actors look older than high school. At least here in the states it seems that way. So, when I was in high school, I always felt like I looked young because the high schoolers on tv looked older.
Maou was an awesome drama! That's where I earned a lot of respect for Ohno. Not that I didn't have any for him, but since he's not usually that talkative, I just didn't get to see him in action much. With Maou, I got to see more of him in that way. (Uta no Onii-san was a lot of love too!)
