attention all students:

if your school offers a Queer Theory or LGBT+ History class, take it. find a way to sign up for it, ask a school counselor about it, research it - do whatever you can to take it. with all of these anti-queer bills and legislation coming out, learning our past is extremely important, now more than ever.

the QT class i took was majority oral history from my 70-something badass butch professor. she equipped me with priceless knowledge about all of the people that gave their lives for us to be even in public.

this is a plea to make an effort to preserve our history. no, im simply begging you. don’t let them erase us again.

i left my cold brew in the college bathroom stall

i love it when i get emails from the student loan people reminding me of my balance… like i can somehow forget that i owe the US government thousands of dollars… like i can forget that if i don’t pay them they will come to my house and snipe me right in the spot

i will admit i’m being crushed by pretty much everything at the moment. getting COVID was the straw that broke my back. i’m so overwhelmed (and honestly too sick to function) by school right now… an option i have for classes is dropping and appealing the class since it’s a special situation… but i don’t know if it’ll go on my permanent record or not. i really really want to drop my classes since it’ll take the biggest weight off my shoulders but i’m honestly terrified. i don’t want to have to pay back any financial aid i received either… i’m struggling.

finishing my homework a day early AND in the early morning like i don’t have several mental illnesses………. depression who? ADHD who?? i am invincible

nothing is more freeing than finishing the very last final of the semester

wow i LOVE inflexible professors. i’ve been feeling like absolute crap these past few days like ZERO spoons and haven’t had a chance to prepare for a test that’s due today. i asked for an extension and explained that i’ve been sick. i’m registered w/ the disability office so she knows, but she denied my extension anyways.

also, we’re in a fucking pandemic. sometimes you need to bend the rules. “it says so in my syllabus im strict about this blah blah blah” like grow up please
