if your dog isn’t a service animal, stop arguing with me like i owe you access.
you knew the rules when you brought it in.
don’t make me the bad guy for enforcing them and protecting disabled people.

i went to my first gastroenterology appointment and am getting a colonoscopy, as well as some other testing. i’m a mix of relief and fear; fear of nothing being found. i don’t want anything to be wrong but i also don’t want to be told “we can’t find anything wrong with you” once again. i’m scared and anxious.
school starts in less than two weeks and im nervous. i’m only taking one class but it’s the third time i’ve taken it… i don’t want to fail again. its a math class, of which i have a learning disability, so i have to do so much extra work.
i hope all is well. please wish me the best of luck… i’m going to need it. ❤️
(well, as much as i can get on here.)
first, the context:
the rental company that owns my boyfriend and i’s apartment is a disaster. they consistently ignore our requests to fix things. this includes a hole in the roof of our kitchen that leaks when it rains, a clogged sink that reeks, black mold in our shower that won’t go away… the list goes on.
on top of this, they tried to force my boyfriend to sign a pet addendum onto the lease for his service dog.
we would like to pursue legal action against them regarding the pet addendum and would like to break our lease early without penalty.
we live in Michigan. do we have any legal ground given the apartments aren’t very livable and they violated the ADA? if so, please let me know and send me an ask/reply to this post. if you know of anyone in the southwest area of the state who is pro-bono or legal aid, please let me know.
if we do have legal ground, we are willing to pay what we can. something’s gotta give. please help us. 😞
hi my alcohol intolerance has gotten to the point of having one singular drink makes me super sick…………….. but i love my fruity sippys
FINALLY some good news! i have an intake appointment with a gastroenterologist on August 26th. not much has changed since my last update (still having IBD symptoms, etc.) but i’m more than excited to start remission. it’s going to take a long time to figure out what’s going on but finally, finally i’m on the road to relief.
to all of my friends i haven’t talked to in a while: i love and i miss you all so much. as soon as i start feeling better, ill talk to you soon. 💖
so… i’m pretty sure i’m experiencing job burnout. i’ve only worked at my credit union for five months and i’m already burned out… i’m pretty sure it’s because of the pandemic and my health (or lack thereof). i really don’t want to quit because i like this company.
until i see my therapist in two weeks, does anyone have any solid advice for dealing with this? i’m dragging myself to work and getting annoyed with the people i serve (for example: i’m getting super irritated when members want $20 out and hand me their debit card like there’s not an ATM right there…).
it’s becoming disheartening and is bringing me down. any advice is welcome. :(
oh hey uhm my “birthday” was a week or two ago, by the way. i didn’t get to celebrate it then because my mom had come to visit me for the first time in five years; which is definitely a good thing but also exhausting. so… i guess i’m celebrating it now?
i’m honestly very proud of myself for getting through all of the bs i’ve gone thru in the last few months. my invisible illnesses (and covid) have been weighing me downen but i’m here. happy birthday to myself here’s to another 🎉🎁🍾🎂
my boyfriend: can you mark in my tracker that i took my s*icide pill?

him: you know, my… wait. what’s it called again?
me: your……. anti… depressant??????
him: yeah, that!
