    Chaotic ven diagram detailing some things that the shows Helluva Boss and The Mighty Nein have in comon and that differentiates them. The overlap: - ragtag group of queer weirdos commit crimes for profit - hot women that can kick my ass (all caps for emphasis) - romance (with heart emojis) - they are both on Amazon Prime - great action - bad shit keeps happening at the cirkus - daddy issues (in all caps for emphasis) - not to spoil anything but it's weird that a main character did that with fire in both shows - found family (in all caps for emphasis) - gorgeous animation (Seriously!) - an abundance of dick jokes - silly doodles - themes of parenting - sad fuckboys i love you - has a space themed sad gay wizard man who may or may not be immortal (they have the same gair and fandom discourse) - both have a more serious, plot heavy sibling show on amazon (hazbin hotel and vox machina) The differences: - helluva boss is primarily a gritty romantic comedy - the mighty nein is primarily a gritty liw fantasy drama - helluva boss has both diegetic and non-diegetic musical numbers - the mighty nein has only diegetic musical numbers - helluva boss's characters are kinda dumb - the mighty nein's characters are freskishly smart - helluva boss has furrie representation - helluva boss has mostly guns and some swords - the mighty nein don't have any guns yet - the women in helluva boss need more screen time badly (season 3 i am counting on you!) - no notes on the women in the mighty nein, they are equally as developed as the men. - mighty nein is edgy and horny - helluva boss is even more edgy and horny - the mighty nein is very plot centric - helluva boss is character centric - helluva boss is absolutely not PC. - the mighty nein is freakishly PC. (Paraphrasing some things bc i'm a lil tired sorry)ALT
