Defense/Resistance Shackle (abbreviated: Def/Res Shackle; Japanese: 守備魔防の枷 Defense/Magic defense shackles) is a single-tiered passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes. Def/Res Shackle inflicts Def Shackle and Res Shackle on nearby foes, and it reduces the foe's stats and boosts the damage the user deals during combat.

number of【Penalty】effects active on unit + 4,
excluding stat penalties (max 8; through unit's
next action).

【Penalty】
All effects that last "on foe through its next
action." Includes penalties inflicted by a skill
like Panic or Threaten and negative status
effects (preventing counterattacks, restricting
movement, or the effects of a skill like
Triangle Adept or Guard).
