    Faith (フェイス, Feisu?), also known as Might, Pray Faith, or Belief, is a spell in the Final Fantasy series that grants the status effect of the same name that strengthens the affected's magic. It has appeared in many different skillsets and classes of magic. It is a counterpart to Bravery, which boosts physical power.

    Final Fantasy IV

    Faith is one of the spells introduced in the 3D remake that can be accessed by anyone via the Recall Augment ability and by Rydia via Twincast with either Rosa or Cecil. It costs 50 MP to use, and deducts MP from both users of the Twincast command. The spell increases the party's Intellect by 20% and is classified as White Magic.

    Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

    Faith is a spell that improves Magic Magic. It is a spell in the Empowerment Materia Empowerment Materia and costs 7 MP and 1 ATB to cast.

    It is also used as an enemy ability by Two Face.

    Might is a White Magic spell that increases the target's attack power for the remainder of the battle and can be used several times for a cumulative effect. Eiko can cast it along with the enemies Lamia and Iron Man. The spell is learned from Priest's Racket and Hamelin. It can be reflected and works with Return Magic.

    Might is similar in regard to Vivi's Focus ability in that once Strength reaches 99, Might will not increase it further. The effect lasts for the entire battle, even if the character is KO'd and revived.

    Final Fantasy XI

    In the Japanese version, Trust Magic is referred to as Faith (フェイス, Feisu?) magic. Rather than boosting an ally's magic power, however, Faith summons an NPC battle ally, almost like a guest. On the other hand, the Alter Ego of the Star Sibyl does fill the traditional function of a Faith magic by emitting an Indi-Acumen aura that strengthens allies' magic attack.

    Final Fantasy XII

    In the original PlayStation 2 version, Faith is a Green Magick spell enabled by unlocking the Green Magick 6 license on the License Board. The spell can be bought for 5,800 gil at the Muthru Bazaar after the player has reached the clan rank Brave Companion. The spell costs 24 MP to use without Channeling licenses.

    In the Zodiac versions, Faith is listed as White Magick 8 license. It now costs 70 LP and uses 24 MP. The spell is found in a chest in the Necrohol of Nabudis (Hall of the Ivory Covenant). Only the White Mage and Knight jobs can use it, with the Knight needing Hashmal on their board to reach it.

    Faith bestows a status of the same name onto one target that increases their magickal damage by 30% and their healing by 50%.

    Final Fantasy XIII

    Faith is a Synergist spell that increases an ally's magic power by 40% by bestowing the status of the same name. It can be learned by Lightning (Crystarium Stage 7), Sazh (Stage 2), Snow (Stage 7), and Hope (Stage 8).

    It is also an enemy ability used by Dahaka. Its upgrade is Faithra.

    Final Fantasy XIII-2

    Faith is a Synergist spell that applies the status of the same name. It can be learned by Gahongas (6), Gancanagh Ace (1), Gigantuar (2), Imp (8), Microchu (30), Nanochu (1), Oannes (1), Purple Chocobo (9), Sahagin Prince (1), Sazh (1), Tetsudo (1), and Yakshini (1) Paradigm Pack monsters. It costs 2 ATB and has a duration of 40.

    It is also an enemy ability used by Leyak, Lightning, Ultros, and Valfodr Lv. 99.

    Faith can be used in battle by Arcangeli, Arcangeli Ω, and Ereshkigal.

    Faith is an ability learned by the templar job for 200 JP. It bestows Faith status on one target with a range of 4 for 10 MP.

    The mystic's Faith spell was translated as Belief ("Pray Faith" in PS) and works almost the same as the templar's spell, though is not instant and costs 6 MP.

    Faith is a proactive ability that costs 20 CP to equip. It multiplies effects of magic-type abilities by 1.2 and affects the entire party. It is learned by Terra (level 75), Aerith (level 75), Eiko (level 95), Ashe (level 80), Hope (level 55), and Ace (level 85).

    Faith is the Premium Skill for Beowulf. It increases magic damage taken and Magic of one enemy for 2 turns. In addition, when the target is attacked with a Black Magic spell, that spell will gain a 5000 damage Limit Break.

    Faith is a level 4 Green Magic spell learned by several character as well as Fenrir (1★), Shiva (1★), Ramuh (2★), and Ifrit (2★). It can be equipped as a Materia by crafting it for 800 gil, 5 Water Crysts, 3 Water Megacrysts, 5 Gaia's Tears, and 1 Alcryst. It costs 10 MP to use and increases MAG by 200% for 4 turns to all allies. In some cases, it can be upgraded to +2, which increases the MAG buff to 280% and adds "Increases LB damage by 50/100% for 4 turns to all allies (cannot be dispelled)".

    Faith (FFT) is an ability learned by Beowulf at level 61 (5★). It costs 36 MP, reduces SPR by 65% for 5 turns, and increases MAG by 10% for 3 turns to one enemy.

    Faith is an active ability that raises the magical damage of a single target for 4 AP. It can be used by Iris, Kaguya Flan, Memecoleous, Searcher, and Syldra★.
