Wow! Jamie Bell got full custody of son Jack!

According to The Blast, Wood and Bell agree their son will “primarily live with (him) in Los Angeles, (Wood) shall have custody of Jack one (1) extended weekend per month from Friday, after school or 10:00 a.m.” In other words, the young boy will stay with his dad most of the time in L.A. and travel to see his mom once a month.

It looks like ERW is trying to control the narrative, so she leaked this herself to The Blast because family cases like this are sealed in California. Only she or Jamie can leak it. In this case, it was definitely ERW.

Basically she lost her custody case. It is really rare, especially in California, that a father can get full custody. Anyway ERW has put Jamie through hell since December 2020. I am glad Jamie could have Jack back in LA living with his two younger siblings.

Jamie has Jack Back!

Jack celebrated his 9th birthday with dad, step mom and baby sister on July 9th. There are also photos of a family outing on August 3rd. Kate and Jamie are expecting their second child. The family is growing. Source

I am glad Jamie has never publicly commented on his custody battle, so has Kate.

Transcripts from ERW's Documentary

I watched both episodes of ERW's very scripted Documentary Phoenix Rising. Here are the transcripts of some parts of the documentary referencing her relationship with Jamie. Basically ERW admitted that Manson broke up her relationship with Jamie in 2016.

Collapse ) But I think because Jamie had been overly jealous in our relationship already, when nothing was going on, I just sort of wrote off his fear and anxiety. And I made the mistake of telling Brian that we were a bit on shaky ground. When I sought advice from him, I didn't know that he could possibly be purposely trying to break us up.

But honestly, I think at that point, so much had happened that it was kind of too late. I think our trust just got so damaged. Any time I tried to talk about the abuse, I definitely felt like I was getting victim-blamed. I wish that he had all of the information. It just wasn't safe to go there.

Fei: Here is the thing. If she didn't tell Jamie what exactly happened, how could she expect Jamie to understand her. Calling Jamie "victim-shaming" is not fair.

1:18:51-1:19:11

Fei: This is the end of episode two. After ERW finally named Marilyn Manson as her abuser on social media, she woke up her son and they had the following conversation.

Evan: I know things may have been a little scary for you recently and you might have some worries in your heart.
Jack: Mm-hm.
Evan: But you know what?
Jack: What?
Evan: You don't have to worry about that anymore.
Jack: Why?
Evan: Because the good guys are gonna win.

Fei: This is the climax of the documentary, this is also the part I felt very scripted and well-acted. I also feel this part, in a way, confirmed the story that Jamie told in his court papers that ERW intentionally filled her son with terrifying information about Brian (Manson's real name). I can understand her struggle, but was it necessary to drag a young child into this?

I will add screen captures later and there are more court documents from the custody case. More to come.

Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood's Custody Battle

I have been writng this post for a few weeks, it is quite long. Anyway I found out that Jamie Bell has been in a bitter custody battle with Evan Rachel Wood. The drama! Poor Jamie. I am Team Jack Bell (his son).

One thing I remembered clearly about Jamie and Wood's short marriage (ERW denied they were actually married in her documentary "Phoenix Rising", but back in 2012, her rep told USA Today that they got married on Oct. 30th 2012.) was a tweet on January 15th, 2013. Wood was pregnant, and she tweeted “Had a dream i made out with Kristen Stewart. Good morning.”. I felt it was disrespectful towards Jamie. Was it necessary to tweet this thought to the public? (Fei: Wood's Twitter account was suspended at some point, so I was not able to get a screenshot of the tweet. But there were blog articles from that time reporting her tweet.) Anyway, their son Jack was born in July 29th 2013, and they announced separation in May 2014 when Jack was barely one-year old.

December 18, 2020

Wood was due to fly Jack back to LA so the boy could spend Christmas with Jamie.

December 18-21, 2020 (Court document shared by Twitter account @colonelkurtz99)

JB texted Wood asking if they had arrived ok and she said that they had. However, this was not true. Jack was never put on a plane. Wood had JB believe, for four days, that Jack was in California when in fact he was still in Tennessee. During those four days, JB was not able to connect with Jack over FaceTime even though he tried every day. He also tried contacting Wood's mother because he had grown suspicious of Wood's evasiveness and concerned about Jack's whereabouts, but her mother, sadly, also would not respond.

March 2021

Later in legal document shared by Twitter account @MsJenSteele, JB shared this:

I would also like the Court to know that Evan's recent behavior with Jack is truly alarming. Evan is thankfully still facilitating Facetime though that is the only contact I have with Jack now apart from her recent concession to let me see Jack in Florida. During a Facetime call I had with Jack on February 25, 2021, Jack said something to the effect of “You're not a good Daddy, you're not here.” It broke my heart. A few weeks earlier, Jack told me he drew a picture of a man who has been hurting him. Evan lumped onto the call and corrected him, saying not the man hurting you, that man hurting me. Jack said that the man's name is Brian (Marilyn Manson's real name) and he lives three miles from my house (in Los Angeles) and said that was why he was staying in Nashville. Evan's initial contention as why she failed to return Jack to California was because she says she is involved in a high profile investigation regarding supposed abuse by Brian. I have nothing to do with this investigation but Evan contended.”

The same story is available also through a RadarOnline article.

(no subject)

Channing's first lead starring role since 2017's Logan Lucky is coming out on Feb. 18th. There will be a Valentine's Day preview available on Feb. 14th in selected theatres. If this trailer cannot persuade you to watch it, you're not a dog lover (well, I think some are still a bit reluctant to return to theatres, that's okay).

Channing had a photoshoot and interview with the Variety magazine last week. He looks good. Next month, Channing will soon be in London (UK) to film Magic Mike's Last Dance for HBO Max. In this movie, there will be more dance, a central female character with whom Mike will have an established relationship. A whole ago, it was reported that Thandiwe Newton was in negotiation. I am not sure if it is still the case. Also in an interview, Channing also revealed this movie would have a "Pretty Women" aspect to it.

After Dog, another Channing movie "The Lost City" with Sandra Bullock, Daniel Radcliffe and a Brad Pitt cameo will be out on March 25th. That looks fun too. I am really glad Sandra can still star in a rom-com in her late 50s. Good for her.

Finally, Jamie's new Apple+ show - Shining Gils - releases a trailer too. He is playing another psycho character and looks delicious as a baddie.

Showmance or not, I am here for Zanning

Some background info first. Since announcing his divorce from Jenna Dewan in 2018, Channing's movie career was put on hold for three to four years by now. Most recently we finally saw his cameo performance in Ryan Reynolds' "Free Guy". During the last few years, he has been making decent money from Magic Mike Live shows around the world, settling his divorce with Dewan (not a smooth process), had a rebound relationship with British singer Jessie J for about two years, signed up with a new talent agency. Since the fall of 2020, he has published a children's book (which will probably be made into a movie), completed filming two movies - "DOG" (co-directed by him and Reid Carolin) and "The Lost City" with Sandra Bullock. Both movies are scheduled for release in the spring of 2022. So hopefully they can have commercial success.

Making a comeback is not easy in Hollywood, even you are a white male hunk. Anyway, in the last two weeks, we were blessed with Paparazzi photos of a hot new potential couple "Zanning" (Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum). The two were first rumored to be dating on January 2nd, 2021. At that time Zoe just filed for divorce on Dec. 23, 2020. Their publicists quickly shot down the dating rumor and claimed they were working on a project. On June 15th, we found out that Zoe would become a first-time director. She co-wrote a script titled "Pussy Island" and cast Channing to play the leading role - a philanthropist and tech mogul. More information about this project, please check this in-depth article. Anyway, it seems Channing was attracted to this project because big studios would never cast him for such a role. Also I bet working with Zoe is another reason. Two months later, after Channing wrapped up filming on "The Lost City" in Dominican Republic, he declared that it was "time for all the things. Mine time. Getting back to me before the next creative adventure into someone and somewhere else. I am so happy and easy right now. Breathing and gonna indulge in this life I've been blessed with. Be easy."

Then BOOM!, starting from August 18th, he was photographed with Zoe Kravitz in NYC almost daily and even once in upstate New York (Saugerties, NY). Judging from social media reactions, most people are loving it because they do look good together. Channing has been through ups and downs in the last decade. For quite some time, his more traditional appeal has been mocked by newer generations because he seems to attract horny middle-aged women most. Even when he got back in shape while dating Jessie J, there were not such positive reactions. But look at them, aren't they hot?

Of course some are saying it is a PR stunt. Well, both of them are single, if this type of PR stunts are good for them personally and professionally, why not? It is not like they're hurting anyone, right? I am here for more Zanning. In the next few weeks, there will be more professional news from them. Zoe is the next onscreen Catwoman in the upcoming Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. There was a screening, some DC fans are very hyped. Also last week Channing's "Dog" movie trailer was shown at Cinemacon, I hope the trailer will be available on social media soon. It is scheduled to be released on Feb. 18th, 2021.

I am excited for a joyride of Tatum 2.0. Good luck Chan!
