Travis Stout is a developer who worked at Obsidian Entertainment on Fallout: New Vegas and its add-ons as a writer and area designer.
Biography[edit]
Travis is originally from Florida.[Dev 1] He graduated from Full Sail University with an Associate of Science in Computer Animation in 2000.[Ext 1]
Career[edit]
Early on, Stout worked at pen-and-paper RPG companies as a writer. At first it was at a small company before working at White Wolf Games, which ended with him creating several White Wolf and Dungeons and Dragons tabletop scenarios and adventures.[Dev 1] He joined Obsidian Entertainment in September 2005, and work there until October 2011. He worked as a writer for a few companies before joining Massive Entertainment in 2016, where he works to the present day as an expert narrative designer.[Ext 1]
Fallout Series[edit]
Stout is credited as an area designer, and writer on Fallout: New Vegas, and as an area and narrative designer for its DLCs.[1]
Stout wrote the dialogue for Raul Tejada, Lily, all of the intelligent appliances in The Sink, the Brain Tank, the Lonesome Road version of ED-E,[Dev 1] Waking Cloud, Follows-Chalk, Salt-Upon-Wounds[Ext 2] and Bert Gunnarsson.[Dev 2]
He also wrote The Misfits, and co-wrote Goodsprings with Eric Fenstermaker.[Dev 3] He also worked on the dialogue and quest design for the Great Khans.[Dev 1]
Stout is included in the "Special Thanks" section of the All Roads graphic novel.[2]
